Old Tao truly had no desire to waste words with him. He sneered and pointed it out:

"I remember that Sky Abyss Remnant Tribe field-grade officer. Mixed-bloods are fairly rare to begin with, and combined with his unusual build, he'd be quite sought-after among collectors.

"Selling experimental materials might only yield three to five times the profit. Selling collectibles, though, could bring thirty to fifty, even three hundred to five hundred times."

The Butcher immediately denied it. "How could it be that high? Neither materials nor collectibles fetch that much."

Old Tao continued sneering as they entered the relevant area.

It was a packaging workshop. The materials processed earlier would receive their final packaging here before being loaded into unpowered smuggling pods.

The workshop was quite busy at the moment. In truth, the Butcher had intended to clear out his stock before this situation erupted, then make his escape.

The Butcher cursed under his breath. His men were too slow, so he could only brazen it out and pretend not to know, calling out loudly:

"What are you standing around for? Bring that thing over here."

At his words, the underling turned around to look at the two of them, seeming momentarily dazed.
