Like a puppet on strings, Gideon followed "Rational Gideon's" arrangements, found a bench by the roadside nearby, and sat down like the customers in the shopping district who had grown tired from browsing.
He was indeed less conspicuous now. At the very least, he felt inexplicably more at ease.
The gazes converging on him from all directions no longer carried such obvious hostility.
That gave Gideon some confidence. He tried to argue with "Rational Gideon." "No, there's still Little Fear! If they sell me out, they won't be able to protect Little Fear either. They definitely won't be able to complete their mission!"
