To outsiders, Ronan—or more precisely, Lao Pu—was a somewhat absurd "kept man."
But Ronan felt he was more like a "new node" Wei Su Yi had rapidly cultivated on that "Spider Web."
Wei Su Yi had said he was her "wings," but a "bug" struggling to survive would never let its "wings" leave its body.
So, in Ronan's own view, he was more likely another "bug" temporarily catalyzed into being.
Ronan wanted to distract the "spider" and the "birds," throw off their direction, and draw them a little farther away from "Earth Spacetime." Wei Su Yi's thinking might have been similar.
Given their current relationship as "allies," thinking this way was a little shady.
But Ronan needed to be more proactive. Aside from putting some distance between them so he could observe Wei Su Yi, this was also a good chance to look at the other side, at the people currently connected to this, and at how the entire "Spider Web" would react.
The reaction from the "other side" came faster, and more impatiently, than expected.
