The officer under him was a little dazed. He had never seen his superior so tense that his whole body looked ready to snap.
They were about to board the shuttle, and then this happened out of nowhere. Of course everyone was panicking, okay?
Sen Lang looked around at the flow of people, but found nothing. After several seconds of silence, he said in a low voice, "Suspend boarding. Contact the Station Priest."
"Huh?"
Leaving aside how the Police Headquarters team dealt with it, on Ronan's end, Sen Lang was somewhat special.
Probably because of his profession and post, there were many people in the Boundary Curtain district who knew "Pu Ren," but Sen Lang was the first who could roughly piece together the logic of the existence behind "Pu Ren" and come extremely close to the truth.
Of course, Sen Lang's understanding of "Pu Ren" was very likely limited to files and dossiers, and there were a great many errors in his basic assumptions.
For example, his assumption about the so-called "Orderly evil cult from beyond the domain," and its relationship with the Pitfall Fire Hell, had similar results but got the entire process wrong. Another example was that he placed the existence of "Gideon" far too high, causing his focus to miss the mark.
But it was precisely this kind of assumption, where "truth" and "error" existed side by side, that made it easier for the Illusory Nightmare Clone to operate.
This also counted as one of the "nodes" Ronan had arranged early on. This guy was a veteran Spirit Communicator, and jumping through this "node" would inevitably leave some traces, while wiping them too forcefully would be unwise.
With Sen Lang's cautious personality, he was bound to report it.
