After several seconds of silence, Officer Ke Haike replied with a bitter smile, "Great Monarch, there was no need to go as far as Gouchen Star. There had already been some talk in Star Ring City. Still, I wasn't entirely convinced. It was only after arriving here that I became more certain."

No matter what, there was pressure involved when a successor reported their predecessor before their seat had even warmed. Reporting them in this manner was even more extraordinary.
