The Fast Ship emerged from hyperspace, but to show respect for Great Monarch Xi Hui, its entry point had been set much farther back, roughly two light-seconds from the target industrial mining planet.
Since the other side had already been staking out territory and laying down rules, the extent of their interference was fairly clear, right at the edge of their maximum range. It was barely within reach, but not convenient if they wanted to exert any definite force.
At this distance, in normal spacetime, even for a Fast Ship, factoring in acceleration and the planet's gravitational pull, there was only so fast it could land.
So, was a standoff next? One at the Great Monarch level...
Though she had just thought of "gods," Mo Jia could not sort out the logic behind it. When she considered it more deeply, she still based her thinking on a "Great Monarch-level confrontation."
Mo Jia was very nervous now, and she was growing more nervous by the moment.
Xi Hui's appearance had been completely outside her expectations.
Her simple judgment of a person had uncontrollably turned into doubt and fear, but these future problems kept being swept aside by the tense situation at hand.
She had not been able to think effectively for a long time.
Tai Yu urged her, "Hurry up while everyone isn't here yet."
The logic behind those words was a little muddled. Mo Jia did not understand and instinctively asked, "More people are coming?"
Tai Yu gave a hum. "I'm thinking, if your husband's 'Great-Uncle Zeng' were merely interested in this location, there'd be no need for him to bring a Boundless Crowd priest. He couldn't order one around anyway."
Mo Jia understood a little. "So there'll also be someone in charge from Myriad Gods Hall..."
As she said
