Mo Jia had received this kind of information again and again, so she had long since prepared herself mentally. There was not much emotional fluctuation as she stepped half a pace forward to see more clearly.
The equipment on the two corpses was distinctly different. The one wearing double-layered armor was her clan brother; the other wore an Exoskeleton Armor light suit that looked remarkably thin. That was probably the Architecture Priest?
Was the latter being too careless? Or had the priest's usual robe-style protective garment been discarded for some reason later on?
Very soon, Mo Jia saw the somewhat familiar face beneath the visor, and was momentarily stunned.
No one knew how long this man had been dead, yet his body showed no obvious swelling or distortion. He looked exactly as he had in life.
His eyes were wide open, his mouth slightly parted, as if he were still gritting his teeth.
It did not look like fear. It looked more like extreme excitement, as though he were about to charge forward the next second and fight a powerful enemy to the death. Or like a rabid fan seeing their idol, determined to break through every obstacle and rush over to hug and kiss them.
He had died in such a state, and there were no other visible wounds...
It seemed to have been an attack on the Mental Aspect.
That was Mo Jia's judgment, but she did not voice it. She was not qualified to state her judgment in front of Tai Yu.
Yet Tai Yu spoke soon afterward. "It directly affected the Transition Layer. The interference with the Mental Aspect is very obvious... but this one is somewhat more complicated."
Mo Jia shifted slightly, looking past Tai Yu's shoulder at the face in the other display cabinet.
