Grand Duke Zhiping hurriedly replied, "Yes, I'm here."
"I didn't buy too much, did I?"
"Come on. I followed your instructions to the letter—not a bit more, not a bit less."
"Then put all of it out at the site..."
The more Grand Duke Zhiping heard, the more wrong it sounded. He had no idea how to respond, so in the end he merely warned, "Some of those things react easily or evaporate quickly."
Tai Yu clearly wasn't concerned. "Just leave them in their containers. Hopefully that won't make the operation much harder."
"It won't... Wait, what are you planning to do?"
Halfway through his reply, Grand Duke Zhiping realized that "operational difficulty" clearly had nothing to do with him. Growing even more uneasy, he pressed, "Where are you right now, my friend?"
"Over by the Silver Screen Star System," came the reply.
In other words, at least a thousand light-years away.
A chill ran through Grand Duke Zhiping. But when he thought of the fluctuations in the Boundary Curtain, he began to understand.
"Is that even possible?"
His question went two ways: to Tai Yu, and to Great Monarch Ma Ge up in the Polar Domain.
Great Monarch Ma Ge was also an expert on the Illusory Nightmare Domain and could manipulate the Boundary Curtain. But he gave no response.
Tai Yu, on the other hand, answered frankly. "Didn't we say we needed to take samples? I figured I'd run an experiment while I was at it. Whether it works or not, don't laugh at me."
"Don't do anything reckless!"
Grand Duke Zhiping meant every word.
This was no ordinary place. It was Plane Six, the Ruin and Fall System's dedicated Functional Plane in the Boundary Curtain region, where its Rule Domain was most tightly secured.
If Tai Yu
