As for the "familiar selection," Tai Yu thought back for a moment and remembered:
Wasn't this exactly the "species that did not occur naturally yet were interesting enough" that Great Monarch Fan Lunnuo had asked him to collect? Supposedly, they were "toys for His Highness Cloud Wing King's daily amusement."
Of course, Cloud Wing King's standards had to be sky-high. What Tai Yu had on hand now would most likely fail to catch His eye.
For the time being, Tai Yu had not truly counted on getting Cloud Wing King's vote.
He was merely conducting an experiment in front of the Lighthouse's display area, one whose practical purpose was still unclear.
The first experimental subject Tai Yu thought of was Stone Soul, currently buried deep within the Earth Core of one of the wandering Four Linked Stars.
No sooner had he thought of it than he acted. Though they were separated by hundreds or thousands of light-years, that was nothing when viewed from the dimension of the River of Time. With the Boundary Curtain coordinating things, projecting his Self over there was not difficult.
Stone Soul and Lighthouse were both Outer Domain Species, and their traits differed vastly from Tai Yu's Original Body. That fulfilled... one of the anticipated conditions.
On the "shore," with Stone Soul bearing his Self, the vastly different "traits" wore against each other. It was as if they had struck wonderful sparks, illuminating many details of the related "waters" within the River of Time.
Perhaps because Tai Yu understood this Stone Soul's origins relatively well, and had continuously analyzed and studied it since acquiring it, he clearly saw this Stone Soul's slight displacement within the River of Time.
This included its arrival after breaking through the boundary at its peak state, its scattering and fragmentation under
