Mu Kuo had only been testing whether he could track Tai Yu through the Boundary Curtain. To his surprise, it worked.
More or less. Mu Kuo could "see" the Four Linked Stars.
They were separated by vast distances in spacetime, yet their associated powers and properties were reflected and combined through the Boundary Curtain, forming a semblance of a Celestial System.
The Four Linked Stars were the clearest marker of all. Anyone would know that heading there would lead them to Tai Yu, or at least to part of his foundation within the Boundary Curtain's rules.
It was a remarkably conspicuous move.
That was why, with the Misty Jungle half-sealed and those connected to it spilling outward, it was easy to pinpoint Tai Yu in the Dreamscape Mist spreading across the Boundary Curtain region.
Mu Kuo had taken this same route the first time he contacted Tai Yu.
Back then, he had only been trying to communicate. Now it seemed he could also use it to locate Tai Yu's coordinates in spacetime.
He really was too conspicuous.
Mu Kuo had thought the same thing twice in quick succession. Perhaps that counted as "courage."
Before anyone knew it, Great Monarch Tai Yu had become someone no discussion of the Illusory Nightmare Domain could avoid.
For now, that was limited to the Boundary Curtain region. But given the region's unique position, his standing would soon extend across the Star Alliance and even into the Central Star Zone.
And if the Phantom Nightmare Divine Kingdom truly could be reestablished and raised, Tai Yu would be impossible to bypass there, too.
Mu Kuo wanted that kind of standing himself, but he knew his limits. Standing in that position meant drawing everyone's fire, and he could not withstand it!
Tai Yu, on the other hand,
