So the Heavenly Abyss Remnant Poison of those years had not only targeted the Abyssal Spirit Net. It also had a special effectiveness against something as intangible as a Faith Structure.

That made sense. Only then could it slow the Myriad Heavens Divine Kingdoms and place obstacles in their path.

The problem was that this "obstacle" could no longer take shape so easily.

During the reverse infiltration, it was clear that the Poison Seed's various "nodes" and "circuits" were easy to scatter but difficult to reassemble.

It was not that the faith environments of the Deities and Great Monarchs offered no opportunity. Rather, the nodes and circuits had almost no cohesion. Their very material and rule foundations denied them any chance to grow into a serious threat.

That was the consequence of a changed Rule Environment: it had pulled the rug out from under the poison.

Six thousand years ago, things had probably been different... and the present Poison Seed was different too.

Though it had lost its own ability to bind together, it was now fused with Wa Wu. The Illusory Nightmare Domain and Peerless Divine Power were involved... and perhaps something from the Abyss as well.

Add in the violent response of Wyatt's and the Lord of the Ultimate Dark's Faith Frameworks—their repeated collisions and mutual catalysis—and the effect was not quite a bond, but close enough.

What exactly had come together, though... was still hard to see.

The Attendees had no intention of examining it closely. On the contrary, they withdrew farther from the now-unavoidable conflict so they would not end up splattered with blood.

Ultimately, in the Attendees' eyes, once this "card" had been partly exposed, the historical and intelligence value of the Poison Seed's legacy exceeded its practical value.
