Great Monarch Ma Ge had no experience confronting a "War Domain" head-on.
Now that the "Heavenly Abyss-Hanguang system" had declined, even the few people it still had, the Great Monarchs such as Luande and Grand Duke Zhiping, could not possibly face him in a direct fight.
Yet the instant those blazing white flames engulfed him, he felt a strange sense of familiarity.
Perhaps he had studied history too well. At this moment, the most vivid hallmark of that bygone era, that special power capable of hampering or even nullifying other Rule Domains, was genuinely acting upon him.
In that instant, he fell into the "War Quagmire."
Wyatt, however, merely brushed past him.
At the Great Lord Level, "brushing past" was actually a glancing collision between two regions of "spacetime" with pronounced existential presence-the initial close-range collision at the absolute limit of distance could no longer happen again.
Great Monarch Ma Ge failed to make out Great Monarch Wyatt's condition. He only felt that intense pressure, and his own Rule Domain visibly distorted.
His opponent gathered up the entire "Corpse-Burying Ground," along with the Underlying Network of the "Misty Jungle" connected to it, all in one sweep. Even part of the "Boundary Curtain" Ma Ge had pulled over became entangled in it, and his opponent's blazing white flames burned their way up along that "Boundary Curtain."
A classic case of bringing fire down upon himself.
He clearly felt the weight of Wyatt's rule-governed spacetime, so intensely restrained, yet so intensely restless.
"Is it really an 'Inner Universe'?"
Great Monarch Ma Ge could not be certain yet, but he believed that those who currently held some authority over the "Boundary Curtain," as well as those directly connected to the Misty Jungle's Underlying Network, must have felt much the same as he did.
