"Just listen to the name. As for what it does, I already said—it's not fundamentally different from what we have on Earth. It's a mechanical device that constructs a limited space. In extreme cases, all it needs is to soak a person's brain inside it.
"It mainly targets the Form and Spirit Framework of humans or other higher intelligent life forms, especially the brain and nervous system. Through stimulation such as electrical signals, it deceives sensory neurons and creates an environment that feels utterly real.
"Of course, it has plenty of limitations. Even if digital technology is used to construct a virtual physical system, it is still only an imitation of Local Time-Space rules. At its core, it is merely an illusion that acts on the brain, and some require the active cooperation of the participants. Clearly, it's impossible to use this model in actual combat. At the very least, I can't put Virtual Helmets on the heads of those Extraordinary Species."
Ronan cracked a cold joke. Raven did not know how to play along, her expression serious yet placid.
"Ahem, but the advantage of this kind of 'Simulator' is that it's a fairly good editing tool. As long as there's enough data, sufficient Computational Power, and a power supply and so on, it can edit very good 'settings' and even 'scripts.' In theory, it could create a virtual Earth, or even a universe.
"On a smaller scale, it can be used for ordinary games and training. On a larger scale, it can provide deep computational simulations for higher-level 'Simulators' later on... Most importantly, if someone has already completed a setting or script, it can store it for immediate use."
Ronan flexed his fingers and quickly brought up, on the front-end interface, the image of a certain planet he had
