I started writing this book on November 5, 2022. After more than a month of hard work, it was finally time for it to go premium.
It was expected to launch at 12:00 p.m. on December 9—that is, noon tomorrow.
This was also my first time writing a launch message. Of course, lots of people said these were basically "sob story messages," so the more miserable, the better.
But I didn't feel like I had it that bad. Aside from this period, when I'd been running myself ragged with papers and exams, things had otherwise been pretty relaxed.
So I just wanted to thank all the readers who had supported me. This book had made it this far thanks to everyone's continued reading, tips, comments, bookmarks, monthly passes, and recommendation votes.
It launched tomorrow, and barring any surprises, there should be at least five updates.
There were currently 3,700 people following it, so I'd set the starting goal at 2,500 first-day subscriptions.
For every additional 300 first-day subscriptions, I'd add another chapter!
Of course, that only applied tomorrow. Future update schedules would depend on the final first-day subscription numbers.
(Honestly, if I pushed myself, I could write ten thousand characters a day too—provided the results were good enough for me to stand tall and explain things to my family QAQ.)
I'd also make up the three chapters I owed from before.
As for tips and the like, I wouldn't ask for them. Those with money could show their support with money; those without could show their support by being here.
I knew many readers were students without independent financial means. Maybe a lot of people would switch to pirated versions after seeing the book go premium.
You could actually tell from the numbers. My tips, recommendation votes, and monthly passes
