Willow Village Residential Complex, Building 6, rooftop.
A huge, deep-black zombie hovered there. Its head resembled a squid, covered in short tentacles, a sight that could make someone with trypophobia faint on the spot.
A mass of tentacles extended from beneath its body, spreading throughout the residential complex.
Over a hundred human women were imprisoned beneath its abdomen.
They moaned and writhed.
Male human survivors were impaled on the tips of dozens of shorter tentacles.
Most of them were unconscious, but the slight movement of their abdomens proved they were still alive.
Colorful eggs lay everywhere on the rooftop.
There were more than two hundred!
Some made teeth-grating sounds as something scraped against their shells from inside.
Soon, a shell broke, and two small, short zombies darted out.
"Keh keh keh~"
Their terrifying cries rang out. The men trembled all over, instinctively waking up.
Every little zombie that hatched would eat half a person's worth of flesh.
The men's faces were filled with despair and numbness. They had already seen far too many people die.
The next person the little zombies ate would be one of them.
"Why are you keeping me alive? Let me die! Let me die!"
One man struggled and shouted, his face flushed red, his body twisting frantically. But the tentacle behind him had already suctioned firmly onto him. An ordinary person's strength was nowhere near enough to break free.
"Keh keh keh~"
The two newly hatched little zombies were drawn by his voice and ran toward him, shrieking.
"Ah! Don't come near me! Just let me die! God, let me drop dead!"
He cried out in despair.
Before the apocalypse, this man had been a programmer at an internet company, working nine to nine, six days a week, constantly worrying that he might drop dead
