Chapter Summaries

Piximon and Datamon raced to report the DigiDestined’s arrival on Shaba Continent, while Datamon prepared equipment for extracting their partners’ Evolution Data. Near Koromon Village, Broly’s group discovered Pagumon and Gazimon had driven out the Koromon, and Piximon decided to leave the injustice for the DigiDestined to confront.

• Piximon found the DigiDestined crossing the desert and learned they were heading toward Koromon Village.
• Datamon reported the DigiDestined’s arrival to Broly and presented Data Absorption Collars, a storage device, and plans for Evolution Data Capsules.

• Taichi Yagami and the other DigiDestined returned to the Real World and gave their Summer Camp Teacher a flimsy excuse for disappearing.
• Datamon expanded the flying Spaceship Fortress and used Vademon’s anti-gravity code to help lift it above the desert.
• DemiDevimon arrived with Tentomon, claimed to know where the Crest of Light was, and said Myotismon had kept it.
• Gatomon brought DemiDevimon to Broly, who welcomed it and assigned it to guide a raid on Myotismon’s ruined Forest Castle.
• The group confirmed Myotismon had researched Holy Evolution and taken the Crest of Light to the Real World; Broly decided to retrieve it and capture Myotismon.

Myotismon continued searching for the Eighth DigiDestined Child while Broly accepted Piedmon’s invitation and prepared to cross into the Real World. Datamon’s journey instead brought the spaceship to another Digital World, where Broly’s group clashed with Lucemon Falldown Mode.

• Myotismon punished Bakemon for reporting that the DigiDestined said the Eighth DigiDestined Child was still in the Digital World, then ordered it to continue kidnapping and hypnotizing humans.
• Broly accepted Piedmon’s invitation to join the Dark Forces, keeping his faction’s designation Above the High Heavens so it would be protected while the group traveled away from Shaba Continent.
• Datamon repaired the Dimensional Gate and used Dark Space to send the Main Base Spaceship through a Space-Time Tunnel, despite Piximon’s warnings about crossing without knowing the correct spatial frequency.

After Datamon confirmed this was the wrong world and the Dimensional Gate needed six to eight hours to recharge, Broly took a group of Digimon into the city to find food and money.

• Yamaki Mitsuo learned that a gigantic castle-shaped mass of data was approaching Shinjuku, and the Spaceship Fortress materialized above the D-Reaper.
• The D-Reaper broke free of the Strong Electromagnetic Interference Device, mutated around Juri Katou, and sent Searchers to observe the fortress.
• Broly and his Digimon questioned a Searcher, but the D-Reaper identified them as enemies after learning they sought the DigiDestined and Beast Tamers, then attacked the fortress.
