When Gu He approached the base of the tree, a massive pillar of light shot out from its trunk and enveloped him. He did not resist. Instead, he desperately mobilized his soul power, carefully observing everything around him to ensure that he would not fall into an illusion.
Drawn by the force coming from within the pillar of light, Gu He entered the Bodhi Tree.
