The Next Ranking

Just as Morgana fantasized about how she could win over the Heavenly Venerate of the Cyber Heavenly Court Civilization with her beauty, the ranking in the sky changed once again.

As pale blue ripples spread across the ranking, the golden text upon it transformed into line after line of new words.

[This edition of the Cosmic Civilization Power Ranking—Legion Strength Edition—has concluded!]

[The next ranking will commence in one month. All major civilizations, please arrange your schedules appropriately for the next viewing!]

[The next Cosmic Civilization Power Ranking will be: the Individual Strength Ranking!]

[All individuals in the universe whose strength has reached Third-Generation God Body level or above may participate in the next ranking!]

[The rules are the same as in previous rankings. The stronger an individual is, the higher their rank will be! Likewise, the higher the rank, the more generous the rewards!]

[Note: The next Individual Strength Ranking will select the top one hundred in the entire universe!]

Once the golden words appeared on the ranking, all the major civilizations throughout the Super God Universe erupted into an uproar.

This uproar was completely different from before!

Because in the previous two rankings, even if they had obtained a rank, the ones who ultimately benefited were mostly top-tier civilizations!

But the next ranking was completely different!

According to the ranking, as long as they were strong enough, they would definitely be able to make the list and obtain the ranking's rewards!

More importantly, the next ranking would not only select the top three! There were a full one hundred slots!

For the civilizations already in an uproar, while they might not be able to compete for the higher ranks, they felt that if they worked harder, they still had a chance of making the list in the later dozens of places, or even in the hundredth spot!

After all, improving individual strength was not as difficult as improving legion strength!

The rules on the ranking had already made it very clear: as long as one's strength reached the level of a Third-Generation God Body, one could participate in the next ranking.

With Demon Ato's strength, it should not have been much of a problem for him to make the ranking and obtain a place.

Yet Morgana still felt it was not quite secure enough!

With that in mind, Morgana said to Demon Ato, "Ato, take the Sword of Command and train throughout North America!"

"Before the next ranking arrives, make sure you raise your strength another step for me!"

"That way, in the next ranking, our Demon Civilization should be able to claim two spots."

"Yes." Demon Ato had always carried out Morgana's orders without condition.

Whether they were right or wrong, Demon Ato had never disappointed Morgana!

However, Demon Ato was somewhat confused this time. He was already at the Third-Generation God Body level—how was he supposed to improve his strength further?

But out of respect for Morgana, even though he was confused, Demon Ato held it in and did not ask her.

Seeing Demon Ato's puzzled expression, Morgana was speechless.

In Morgana's view, Demon Ato was good in every way except that he respected her far too much!

As the Queen of the Demon Civilization, Morgana naturally ought to be respected, but Demon Ato had clearly taken it too far!

Even when asking ordinary questions, Demon Ato was this hesitant. If that was not excessive respect, then what was?

After rolling her eyes at Demon Ato in exasperation, Morgana said directly, "If you have a question, just ask it. It's not like I'm going to eat you."

Hearing that, Demon Ato raised his head and respectfully asked Morgana, "Queen, I do not understand. I am already a Third-Generation God Body. How can I improve any further?"

"Do you possess the technology to upgrade me into a Fourth-Generation God Body?"

Hearing Demon Ato's question, Morgana put her hands on her hips and explained bluntly, "I'm not telling you to upgrade into a Fourth-Generation God Body!"

"Do you think Fourth-Generation God Body technology grows on trees? Where am I supposed to find the technology to upgrade you into a Fourth-Generation God Body?"

"Didn't you hear what I just said? I told you to take the Sword of Command and train in North America!"

"Do you understand what training means?"

Seeing that Demon Ato still looked completely lost, Morgana was utterly speechless.

So unless she spelled it out today, this idiot Demon Ato probably would not figure it out.

Thinking that, Morgana sighed and said wearily, "Although the Sword of Command is not some divine artifact, it has a special ability: it can temper a god body by absorbing the blood of intelligent lifeforms."

"The ranking made it very clear that what the next ranking truly measures is individual strength!"

"So I need you to use the Sword of Command to absorb enough blood, then temper your Third-Generation God Body until it becomes even stronger."

"Do you understand now?"

"I understand, Queen." Hearing Morgana's voice, Ato nodded.

Seeing Ato's foolish look, Morgana shook her head helplessly. She was really starting to doubt her own judgment of people!

After raising a hand to rub her temples, Morgana simply stopped paying attention to Ato. Turning to Demon Atai, she said, "Atai, I'll be using the Perfect God Body Upgrade Card for a while."

"Until I come out, you'll take over all affairs of Demon Castle."

"Pay special attention to the situation at Super Seminary. Keep an eye on that personally."

"Yes, Queen!" Upon receiving Morgana's orders, Demon Atai agreed without any hesitation.
