Background / History

Karl became fixated on the Cyber Heavenly Court Civilization after its technology appeared on the Ranking System. He regarded the unknown civilization as a threat precisely because the Great Clock could not provide him sufficient intelligence, leading him to scan the Known Universe for high-level energy fluctuations and infer its location. His initial coordinates were false; the signal he tracked came from Yang Jian's advancing scouting force rather than the Cyber Heavenly Court's true location. 11 12 15

To preserve his authority after the failed search, Karl reassured the Secondary Civilizations in his alliance and continued presenting the false coordinates as the most likely location. He then proposed mass-producing Void Engines for their super soldiers, intending to use the upgraded forces to test the Cyber Heavenly Court while avoiding direct losses to the Nether River Civilization. 17 34

Karl later identified Giant Spirit God's Transport Ship through the Great Clock.
