Bennigo was born the son of a horse herder in a baron’s territory. His physical ability earned him entry into knight-apprentice training, where he became a qualified knight and won military accomplishments. He married Fiona, the baron’s frail daughter, whom he loved deeply. Her worsening illness drove him to seek a cure and eventually led him onto the wizard’s path. 110

His wizard aptitude was barely sufficient to qualify him as a wizard. Nevertheless, he rose from an ordinary official wizard into a famed Seventh Magic Ring genius, became a Third Ring core member, and approached the Fifth Ring. His advancement came through the Ancient Battle Method Wizard path: using intense, repeated spell and domain collisions to refine the soul. The method eventually exhausted his potential, left a gap in his soul, and caused Soul Decay Syndrome. 110 122

His decline coincided with his efforts to preserve Fiona. He maintained her nearly extinguished life in a crystal Eternal Life Coffin through ice-based Rune Arrays, exhausting his resources and isolating himself in a decaying manor. 84
