Physician of Green Mountain Town

Xiao Yi Xian initially works as a physician at the Myriad Medicine Shop near the Magical Beast Mountain Range. Mercenaries recognize her authority in medical emergencies: when an injured man arrives, her demand for immediate treatment interrupts their confrontation with Xu Haoyu and Zi Yan. She then privately warns the travelers about the mercenaries’ violent temperament 103.

The following day, she again urges them to leave after identifying their opponents as members of the Wolf Head Mercenary Group. Instead, Xu Haoyu hires her to guide them through familiar herb-gathering areas, paying her with a bottle of second-tier Rebirth Pills. Learning that he is an alchemist turns her concern into admiration 104.

During their mountain expedition, she discovers that Xu Haoyu is a Rank 6 Alchemist and that both travelers are Dou Wangs. Their strength initially makes her feel unequal to them, but their friendliness allows her to request the Seven-Colored Poison Classic found in a concealed tomb. On the return journey, Xu Haoyu answers her questions about herbs and pharmacology 105 106.

After He Meng threatens them at the shop, Xu Haoyu and Zi Yan kill the attackers and eliminate the Wolf Head Mercenary Group to prevent reprisals against her. Before departing, Xu Haoyu tells her that she can seek them at Jia Nan Academy or in the Tianxin Empire if her body develops problems. His apparent knowledge of her secret leaves her wondering whether her condition can be treated 106.

The Heavenly Poison Woman

As Xiao Yi Xian absorbs more poison, her Woeful Poison Body awakens beyond her control. Its addictive pull and corrosive effects drive her to the Chuyun Empire, where Poison Masters are common, to search for a solution. Repeated attacks force her to kill her aggressors and eventually establish the Poison Sect, using fear and ruthless methods to discourage further harassment 178.

The sect serves chiefly as protection and a means of gathering records about her constitution. Her research uncovers no successful precedent: previous possessors either died young or lost their minds before exploding and poisoning the surrounding land 178 179.

Xu Haoyu and Zi Yan reunite with her during a confrontation between the Poison Sect and the Ten Thousand Scorpion Gate. Ashamed of her altered appearance, she initially denies being Xiao Yi Xian. Zi Yan recognizes her anyway, and Xu Haoyu destroys the opposing faction’s assembled members before inviting her to travel with them 178.

She accepts, transfers leadership of the Poison Sect to its strongest subordinate, and leaves without attachment to its future. Traveling with friends she trusts allows her to relax after years of fearing both her constitution’s eruption and predatory men 179.

Controlling the Woeful Poison Body

At Jia Nan Academy, Xu Haoyu obtains the Poison Pill Method from Yao Chen in exchange for helping reconstruct his body. Although its rare material requirements initially discourage Xiao Yi Xian, Xu Haoyu already possesses the necessary Heavenly Flames and Bodhi Transformation Saliva. He also lends her the Netherworld Poison Flame to accelerate her cultivation 179 180.

The group travels to Fallen God Stream, where Xu Haoyu kills a seventh-tier Heavenly Poison Scorpion Dragon Beast and retrieves its Magical Core. With Zi Yan guarding the castle, Xiao Yi Xian undertakes the dangerous condensation process. Xu Haoyu forces her poison gas into her dantian, restores damaged tissue with Bodhi Transformation Saliva, and helps her compress the gas into a Poison Pill 182 183 184.

Recognizing that the beast core could eventually become inadequate, Xu Haoyu has the Netherworld Poison Flame swallow it. This modification lets the flame grow alongside her and continue containing her poison. The successful procedure restores her health and removes the uncontrolled backlash that had threatened her future 184 185.

Travels and Cultivation

Xiao Yi Xian accompanies Xu Haoyu and Zi Yan to Eastern Dragon Island, then follows them to the Void Lightning Pool. Unable to safely enter the lightning herself, she cultivates outside it, refining poisons with the Netherworld Poison Flame. She later joins their exploration of the ancient ruins in the Skeleton Mountain Range and the expedition to reunite the dragon islands 185 186 188 189 196.

When Zi Yan cannot attend the Pill Gathering, Xiao Yi Xian accompanies Xu Haoyu to Pill City. She watches anxiously while he subdues the Three Thousand Burning Flame, then agrees to follow him into the Ancient Wasteland Domain. During his month-long slumber in the Bodhi Ancient Tree’s space, she refuses to sleep despite growing mentally exhausted 199 200 211 212 214.

Subsequent cultivation draws on Xu Haoyu’s Bodhi Great Return Pill, the Yellow Springs Demon Saint’s blood essence, and the Heavenly Nether Poison Codex. She accepts these resources partly because she wants enough strength to fight alongside him rather than remain unable to help 214 215 222 227.

Protector of the Xu Family

Before attacking the Soul Hall, Xu Haoyu sends Xiao Yi Xian to the Tianxin Empire to protect his grandfather and relatives against possible Soul Clan retaliation. He transfers three Sky Demon Puppets to her control as additional protection 235.

During his absence, she discovers a Soul Hall stronghold in Sky Burial Ravine that has been secretly capturing souls for years. She destroys it to remove a hidden threat to his family. When Xu Haoyu returns after half a year, the empire remains peaceful 237.

She later leaves the three puppets with Xu Tianlong and the Xu Family. Although she worries that Xu Haoyu will blame her for disposing of such valuable assets, he affirms that they were hers to use as she wished. Her ruthlessness as the Heavenly Poison Woman is deliberately cultivated rather than an abandonment of her earlier values. She explains that repeated threats forced her to make others fear her. Despite this hard exterior, she treasures her few friendships and initially hides her identity because she fears rejection 178.

Once accepted by Xu Haoyu and Zi Yan, she becomes openly trusting and determined to repay their help through strength.
