Wen Lingmu entered the Ancient Holy Abyss with members of the Wen Family to seek treasures that might help her become a Thunder God Palace core disciple. After finding nothing in the outer regions, she decided to venture deeper alone, while Wen Yu and the others stayed behind.

• Wen Quan explained that the Ancient Holy Abyss contained deadly phenomena formed from the spiritual energy of fallen Heavenly Sovereigns and warned the group to avoid its depths.

Luo Li confronted Mo Kele after he interrupted her attempt to capture the River of Heaven Spirit. She summoned the Luo God Dharma Body and drove back Mo Kele’s stronger-seeming attack, leaving their battle unresolved.

After completing the River of Heaven baptisms, Luo Li and her companions searched for the Scripture Depository while finding Mandala’s hidden true body. The chapter ended with Luo Li entering the Depository’s starry realm as countless streams of light rushed toward her.

When Chen Mo's Thunder Clone awoke in her room, Fang Mingyu appeared and claimed Wen Lingmu was his fiancée because her father had accepted a Supreme Great Rejuvenation Pill from his family.

• Luo Li's attack on the black shadow was blocked by black mist, and the shadow escaped with a scroll from the Scripture Depository.
• Wen Lingmu carried the unconscious Chen Mo's Thunder Clone through a sandstorm toward the Wen Family, where he briefly awoke and swallowed a pill.
