Chapter Summaries

An Anbu ninja found Hagoromo in Loulan and delivered the Third Hokage’s order for him to return to Konoha, where power was needed to suppress the Uchiha. On their arrival, Hagoromo’s group encountered a Kumogakure ninja fleeing with a young girl, and Mirai’s alarm roused the village.

• A Konoha Anbu ninja entered Loulan and asked the red-haired Hot Nest to lead him to Hagoromo, mistaking her for Uzumaki Mirai.
• The Anbu delivered the Third Hokage’s message, and Hagoromo agreed to return to Konoha with Mirai, Haku, and Kimimaro.
• Hagoromo’s group said goodbye to Hot Nest and traveled back to Konoha with Tenzō.
• After arriving at night, Hagoromo and Tenzō spotted a Kumogakure ninja fleeing with a young girl.

Hagoromo stopped a Kumogakure ninja from abducting a Hyuga girl and revealed himself as the White Yaksha. He let Mirai, Kimimaro, and Haku fight the elite Jonin for practice before Tenzō captured him with Wood Release.

• The Kumogakure ninja threatened to kill the Hyuga girl, but Hagoromo used a Substitution Technique to rescue her and exposed the man’s plan to steal her Byakugan.
• Hagoromo emerged from the shadows, recognized by the enemy as the White Yaksha, and ordered Mirai, Kimimaro, and Haku to fight while Tenzō supported them.
• Mirai received permission to use any technique, created ten Shadow Clones, and unleashed Chidori Current before charging the Jonin with Kimimaro and Haku.

After returning Naruto Uzumaki’s sister to the Hyuga Clan, Hagoromo settled into his long-abandoned residence with Haku and Kimimaro, then went with Mirai to check on Naruto. Naruto came home, mistook them for burglars, and shouted accusations at them.

• Hagoromo left with his group after Tenzō captured the Kumogakure ninja, returned Hizashi Hyuga’s sleeping daughter, and headed to his Old Residence.
• Haku and Kimimaro began restoring Hagoromo’s dilapidated house, and Kimimaro’s question about why Haku was a boy stunned him.
