It's All Mine!
On the drill grounds outside the city, Yao Mengying parted her small lips, her eyes filled with shock.
Before her, lifelike statues stood in neat rows. They wore armor and held spears, every tiny detail meticulously carved out. They were practically indistinguishable from real people.
Most astonishingly, these soldier statues had single eyelids and double eyelids, some were tall and some short, each with different features. Clearly, they had not been carved from the same mold.
"Sect Master!"
Yao Mengying said in surprise, "These statues look so realistic."
Jun Changxiao walked out from among the rows of soldiers and shook his head. "These aren't statues. They're actual living beings."
He did not call them people, because although the soldiers had noses and eyes, possessing human features, their heights of two or three meters suggested they might be Demon Madness Race soldiers.
"Actual living beings?"
Yao Mengying asked, "Sect Master, what do you mean?"
Jun Changxiao sat atop what resembled a command platform, interlocking his fingers as he said, "If I'm not mistaken, these living beings were sealed by some kind of power, which is why they fell into an absolute petrified state."
"No wonder they all look different!"
Yao Mengying suddenly understood. "So they're all real people!"
"Judging from their stances, they should be a rigorously trained legion. I wonder just how strong they were before being petrified," Jun Changxiao said.

Jun Changxiao turned around and found the girl standing on the command platform, one hand resting against a wall engraved with a handprint. He hurriedly said, "Don't touch anything!"
