Through his exchange with the Deva Path consciousness, Ye Wen learned that this universe, like the Life Plane, had its own limits of endurance.
The maximum number of Divine Lords this universe could contain was seven.
And those seven could not simply be chosen to fill the slots. Each of them had to correspond to one of seven core Laws of the Dao.
For example, Ye Wen's law was nature.
The remaining six had to correspond to time, space, creation, destruction, reincarnation, and stars.
And now that Ye Wen occupied one position, this universe could only produce six more Divine Lords.
Ye Wen was not surprised by this. He had even expected it long ago. After all, nothing was without limits, except perhaps that mysterious and unfathomable endless Chaos that Ye Wen had never truly seen.
But with only seven people including himself, Ye Wen increasingly felt that this universe resembled the Primordial Deva Path.

Previously, it was because this universe's Deva Path lacked sufficient intelligence that Ye Wen had been able to exploit a bug and obtain massive amounts of Merit, using it to raise his cultivation.
But the Cosmic Consciousness before him was clear and logical. She clearly did not look so easy to deceive.
