Xiao Wu could not possibly endure the humiliation of being cursed at to her face, and she immediately intended to curse back.

But Ye Wen raised a hand to stop her.

"If a dog bites you, are you going to bite it back? A win is a win, and a loss is a loss. Why make so many excuses?

You're Boss Dai, right? Since you want another match, then let's do it."

As he spoke, Ye Wen looked around and continued, "This isn't a suitable place to fight. Follow me."

With that, Ye Wen turned and left with the two girls.

Ma Hongjun, who had only just realized he had been called a dog, did not even have time to curse back. His face instantly turned as red as pig liver. He wanted to retort, but had no idea how to insult Ye Wen with such profound and inscrutable sarcasm. He felt utterly miserable.

The Shrek group slowly followed.

Yet the farther they walked, the more uneasy Dai Mubai became.

Ye Wen had not, as he expected, been bullied by their unreasonable pestering into a deserted corner for a miserable fight. Instead, he remained so composed, as though he had anticipated every one of their actions.

The others wore vastly different expressions as well, because Ye Wen carried himself with overwhelming poise.

Only Ning Rongrong, who had long been accustomed to this sort of bearing from spending her life beside her powerful and influential father, paid it no mind. Instead, a trace of interest appeared in her eyes.

Ning Rongrong found it hard to imagine that a boy barely in his teens possessed the same calm aura as her father. Those tranquil eyes seemed to contain vast wisdom.

This made her heart stir!
