Ch. 81Escalating the Conflict

Rinto visited Rie at the Senju Family Mansion, then told Mito Uzumaki that Konoha would never truly let him join and that he wanted to live by his own idea of peace. Later, Shimura Danzō summoned him and offered resources for revenge against Hanzo, but Rinto challenged Danzō to prove he could defeat him first.

  • Rinto slipped into Rie's room, found her asleep among Fire Style scrolls, and removed the Ash Pile Burning scroll.
  • Rinto spoke with Mito Uzumaki about his guarded place in Konoha, his teacher's goal of killing Hanzo, and his own wish for a peaceful life on his terms.
  • Tsunade listened secretly from behind the sliding door and wondered whether Rinto would return.
  • An Anbu brought Rinto to Shimura Danzō, who questioned him about visiting Kagami Uchiha's home.
  • Rinto claimed he had urged Kagami to join Konoha's upper ranks, unsettling Danzō with the prospect of sharing power.
  • Danzō offered Rinto money, forbidden techniques, and manpower to pursue revenge, and Rinto replied that Danzō would have to defeat him first.

Ch. 82It'll Cost Extra

Sakuta Rinto fought off Shimura Danzō and his Anbu in the underground Root base, revealing his formidable Magnet Release and Lightning Style Chakra Mode. After taking control of the confrontation, he demanded compensation and learned that Danzo wanted to know where Kagami Uchiha was.

  • Rinto dodged Danzo's Wind Style attacks and countered with an Iron Sand Wall and Lightning Style Chakra Mode.
  • Rinto broke through an Earth Flow Wall, incapacitated an Anbu, and deflected Danzo's wind-wrapped Shuriken.
  • Danzo summoned reinforcements, but Rinto used iron sand swords and lightning to slaughter the attacking Anbu.
  • An Anbu used the Mind Body Switch Technique on Rinto, but the experience left the Anbu convulsing and laughing after encountering the monster in Rinto's mind.
  • Rinto appeared behind Danzo, warned him to become stronger, and took money from his pouch as compensation for his broken Weighted Gear.
  • Danzo asked where Kagami Uchiha was, and Rinto declared that answering would cost extra.

Ch. 83Thank You for Your Patronage, One Million Ryo

After learning that Kumogakure planned to kidnap Tsunade, Rinto told Kagami and urged him to use the crisis to build ties between the Uchiha and the Senju. Rinto arranged to join the kidnapping team and left Kagami ready to intervene, then demanded one million ryo for his advice.

  • Rinto returned to the inn, where Yawai tried to draw him into studying a ninjutsu scroll, but he used the Flying Thunder God Mutual Instant Rotation Technique to escape and spy on Kumogakure's meeting.
  • Tsuchimasu and the delegation discussed Konoha's firm negotiating position, and Yawai proposed kidnapping Tsunade to force concessions; she made sure Rinto was assigned to the team.
  • Yawai returned to find Rinto apparently asleep and privately hoped he would leave Konoha for Kumogakure.
  • Rinto visited Kagami and revealed the kidnapping plan, urging him to use the incident to improve the Uchiha Clan's relationship with the Senju and the village.
  • Rinto told Kagami to make a spectacle of intervening, then held out his hand and demanded one million ryo.

Ch. 84This Money Was Well Spent

Rinto joined Tsuchimasu’s Kumogakure team in an attempt to abduct Tsunade from the Senju compound, but Kagami intervened and helped stop the raid. After the attackers were captured or escaped, Mito Uzumaki thanked Kagami, who reflected that the one million Ryo he had spent had been worthwhile.

  • Yawai forced Rinto to join Tsuchimasu’s nighttime mission, and the group tracked the Anbu guarding the Senju compound.
  • Tsuchimasu’s team silently took down the guards, and Rinto carried Tsunade away after revealing his identity and persuading her to pretend to be unconscious.
  • Kagami attacked the team with a Fire Style jutsu, defeated Taku with his Sharingan, and used Susanoo to scatter the attackers.
  • Rie accidentally burned Rinto with her Fire Style, while Rinto carried Tsunade into Mito Uzumaki’s room and told Tsunade to find an excuse to punish Rie.
  • Anbu captured three Kumogakure ninja as Tsuchimasu escaped, and Kagami accepted Mito Uzumaki’s thanks for protecting the Senju compound.

Ch. 85Haggling and Love It, Love It

Rinto helped Konoha and Cloud Village conclude a ten-year peace treaty, then obtained sealing techniques and checked on Matatabi. He learned that the Third Raikage had arrived at the temple with the Amber Purifying Pot and the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki, while Matatabi reaffirmed her decision to follow him.

  • Tsuchimasu and Konoha's leaders negotiated a ten-year peace treaty, with Konoha paying for three prisoners and giving Cloud Village two sealing techniques.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi told Shimura Danzō that he had kept the Five Elements Unseal and Four Symbols Unseal in reserve.
  • Rinto visited Rie and Tsunade, scolded Rie for burning his hair, and obtained the Five Elements Seal and Five Elements Unseal from Mito Uzumaki.
  • Rinto studied the Five Elements Seal while traveling with the Cloud Village delegation and noticed Tsuchimasu practicing it.
  • Rinto found the Third Raikage and Fukai's Uncle at the Temple of Wind and Thunder, then visited Matatabi, who complained about her chains and confirmed she would follow him.

Ch. 86Kagami's Day

Kagami reflected on the Uchiha Clan’s future as villagers praised him for saving Tsunade, but the Clan Elders urged him to seek power. He reaffirmed his belief that the Uchiha should integrate with the village, failed to recruit Rie as his student, and became the focus of Danzo’s concern.

  • Kagami received enthusiastic praise from villagers during his patrol and resolved to set an example by helping the Uchiha integrate into Konoha.
  • Kagami returned home to cook for his wife and son before meeting the Clan Elders, who urged him to pursue influence and prioritize the clan’s interests.
  • Kagami rejected the Elders’ ambitions and reaffirmed that the Uchiha should live harmoniously with ordinary villagers.
  • Kagami asked Rie to become his Fire Release student, but she refused, saying Rinto wanted her to learn Water Release instead.
  • Danzo heard that villagers were viewing Kagami more positively and identified him as the key obstacle to keeping the Uchiha from power.

Ch. 87Heavenly Transfer Technique

After returning from Konoha, Rinto joined Kumogakure’s Field Operations Division and learned the Heavenly Transfer Technique’s requirements. He reviewed the intelligence and abilities he had gained, and began waiting for a chance to pursue the Two-Tails and the Eight Inner Gates Technique.

  • Kumogakure rewarded the returning delegation, selected Taku to become the Two-Tails’ Jinchuriki, and assigned Rinto to the Field Operations Division.
  • Tsuchihon showed Rinto the empty division office and gave him a scroll of the Heavenly Transfer Technique.
  • Tsuchihon explained that the technique required large-scale sensory ability and specially made positioning scrolls, then gave Rinto a week off.
  • Rinto returned home and reviewed his gains, including Lightning Style Chakra Mode, the Heavenly Transfer Technique, and intelligence for Hiruzen Sarutobi.
  • Rinto decided he still needed the Two-Tails, Matatabi, and the Eight Inner Gates Technique, and needed an opportunity to catch everyone off guard.

Ch. 88How Much Is Time Worth?

After receiving orders from Hanzo of the Salamander to gather intelligence on Takigakure and sow discord between it and Konoha, Rinto asked Hiruzen Sarutobi what Konoha wanted and what he would gain for helping. Hiruzen recognized Rinto’s talent and guessed he wanted access to the Scroll of Seals, but Rinto requested the Eight Inner Gates Technique instead, arguing that Konoha needed time to grow stronger.

  • Rinto mastered the Heavenly Transfer Technique and its formula, then received Hanzo of the Salamander’s order to gather intelligence on Takigakure and potentially drive a wedge between it and Konoha.
  • Rinto visited Sakumo, asked about Amegakure and Takigakure, and learned that the two villages were fighting fiercely.
  • Rinto brought Hanzo’s scroll to Hiruzen Sarutobi and asked what Konoha wanted and what he could get in return for helping weaken its enemies.
  • Rinto promised a major move against Iwagakure and Kumogakure, and Hiruzen Sarutobi guessed that he wanted to read the Scroll of Seals.
  • Rinto asked for the Eight Inner Gates Technique and argued that Konoha needed ten years of peace to build its strength.

Ch. 89Invincible, How Lonely It Is

Sakuta Rinto secured Hiruzen Sarutobi’s agreement to provide the Eight Inner Gates Formation in exchange for a promise not to harm Konoha. From a cliff overlooking Kumogakure, Rinto reflected on how his calculated pressure on the Third Raikage had helped him win the deal, then resolved to keep completing missions while pursuing more things he wanted from Konoha.

  • Rinto agreed not to harm Konoha’s comrades, leak its intelligence, or help other villages against it, and Hiruzen Sarutobi accepted the deal.
  • Rinto asked Hiruzen to have the Anbu give him intelligence on Iwagakure, then left the Hokage’s Office.
  • In Kumogakure, Rinto reviewed the Eight Inner Gates Formation training scroll and Iwagakure intelligence scroll while considering how his actions had changed Konoha’s view of him.
  • Rinto reasoned that his attacks on the Two-Tails and Eight-Tails had exploited the Third Raikage’s priorities and pressured Konoha into trading the forbidden technique for peace.
  • Rinto declared that he would take what he wanted and continue completing his missions to gain more things from Konoha.

Ch. 90Shopping

Rinto joked about ninja-world bromances before Yawai took him shopping in Kumogakure, where they spent the day together as friends. At the end of the outing, Yawai asked whether she counted as one of Rinto’s Bonds, and he affirmed that she had always been his friend.

  • Rinto decided the book about Hashirama and Madara was better suited to Jiraiya and planned to mail it to him.
  • Yawai confronted Rinto after he mistakenly called her Samui, then asked whether he had worked to protect Mizuguma; Rinto explained that his sister Sakuta Rie had also been part of his reason for working hard.
  • Yawai took Rinto shopping around Kumogakure, bought him black clothes, and painted the word “Hard” on his arm.
  • As Rinto prepared to leave, Yawai asked whether she counted as one of his Bonds, and Rinto told her she had always been his friend.

Ch. 91The Opening Gate That Wouldn't Open

Rinto secured a dangerous field assignment and tried to train in the Eight Inner Gates, but his immortal body prevented him from opening the first gate. He decided he would need Tsunade’s help while preparing to pursue the Two-Tails, and his clone reached the Land of the Waterfall to advance his plan.

  • Rinto practiced the Heavenly Transfer Technique and convinced Tsuchihon to assign him to the dangerous conflict in the Land of Grass.
  • Rinto sent a clone carrying the Flying Thunder God formula toward the Land of the Waterfall and trained in the Eight Inner Gates Formation.
  • Rinto failed to open the Opening Gate, and his Senbon and Iron Sand attempts could not force it open.
  • Rinto realized his immortal body kept the gate from opening and that precise Medical Ninjutsu might be needed, so he thought of asking Tsunade for help.
  • Rinto focused again on the Two-Tails and prepared to finish his plan after his clone reached the Land of the Waterfall.

Ch. 92Four-Tails Son Goku

Rinto infiltrated Iwagakure, sealed and transported the Four-Tails Jinchuriki to the Land of Grass, where the transfer killed the host and left Four-Tails Son Goku loose on the battlefield. Rinto then attacked the beast with a massive club, flattening both of its big toes and sending it crashing to the ground.

  • Rinto met Ryuto’s Kumogakure patrol in Nihe Town, received their intelligence, and left a Flying Thunder God formula behind.
  • Rinto traveled through the Land of Grass to Iwagakure and infiltrated the village by joining a merchant caravan.
  • Rinto ambushed the Four-Tails Jinchuriki, applied multiple seals, and used the Heavenly Transfer Technique to send him to the Land of Grass.
  • The Jinchuriki died during the transfer, leaving Four-Tails Son Goku to rampage among the Rain and Waterfall ninja.
  • Rinto faced Four-Tails Son Goku with a heavy club and crushed both of its big toes, making it fall to the ground in pain.

Ch. 93The Raikage's Scheme

Rinto lured Son Goku, the Four-Tails, into view of Ryuto's Squad so they would report the Tailed Beast to Kumogakure. After reading their intelligence, the Third Raikage planned to use the Amber Purifying Pot and the Heavenly Transfer Technique to capture Son Goku and exploit the situation against Ōnoki.

  • Rinto taunted Son Goku and led the enraged Four-Tails across the Land of Grass toward Ryuto's Squad.
  • Ryuto's Squad witnessed Rinto fighting Son Goku, then retreated to report the Tailed Beast to Kumogakure.
  • Rinto received Ryuto's scroll and sent it to the village using the Heavenly Transfer Technique.
  • Tsuchihon delivered the intelligence to the Third Raikage, who recognized the mysterious fighter and learned that Yawai was on sick leave.
  • The Third Raikage devised a plan to reach the battlefield, capture Son Goku with the Amber Purifying Pot, and use the Four-Tails to pressure Ōnoki.

Ch. 94The Tsuchikage's Response

The Third Raikage prepared to capture the Four-Tails while Rinto manipulated Kumogakure and Iwagakure into a confrontation. Ōnoki refused to go to the battlefield himself, sent Kurotsuchi’s forces to interfere, and placed Iwagakure on alert as Rinto waited for the Raikage and Son Goku to clash.

  • Tsuchimasu warned the Third Raikage that the Four-Tails’ appearance in the Land of Grass might be a trap, but the Raikage decided to go with Tsuchihon and a small force while Tsuchimasu took his appearance.
  • The Third Raikage ordered Kumogakure’s field teams to hide and recalled a deputy director, while Rinto received the orders and hid a clone with a positioning scroll near Nihe Town.
  • Ōnoki and Iwagakure’s clan leaders argued over whether he should pursue the Four-Tails, until an intruder delivered a message reading “A is here!” and escaped.
  • Ōnoki chose to stay in Iwagakure and sent Kurotsuchi with elite and Anbu squads to harass the Third Raikage and prevent him from sealing the Four-Tails.
  • Ōnoki ordered Gari to target the Eight-Tails and Two-Tails Jinchuriki, raised Iwagakure to Level Two Alert, and prepared the Five-Tails Jinchuriki and Sealing Squad.
  • Rinto watched from the shadows, intending to let the Third Raikage fight Son Goku before Iwagakure’s forces arrived and triggered a larger clash.

Ch. 95The Final Stage of the Plan

Rinto waited for the Third Raikage to act, then used the Four-Tails’ rampage as cover to abduct the deputy director of Kumogakure’s Field Operations Division. He prepared to take the Two-Tails Nekomata and flee before the Raikage could return.

  • Rinto watched the Land of Grass battlefield through his clone as Hanzo of the Salamander fought the Four-Tails Son Goku.
  • The Four-Tails launched a Tailed Beast Ball at the approaching Third Raikage, who dodged it and wounded the beast with Hell Stab: Four-Finger Stab.
  • After sensing the attack begin, Rinto teleported to the Raikage Building and tricked the deputy director into watching him practice hand seals.
  • Rinto used the Heavenly Transfer Technique to abduct the deputy director without leaving signs of a struggle.
  • Rinto left the Field Operations Division and planned to take the Two-Tails Nekomata before escaping.

Ch. 96Unleash the Eight-Tails!

Rinto extracted Matatabi from Taku at the Temple of Wind and Thunder while Kumogakure discovered that the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki had vanished. As Yawai ordered the village to prepare for the beast’s release, the Eight-Tails erupted beside the Raikage Building.

  • Rinto traveled to the Temple of Wind and Thunder and found Taku suppressing Matatabi in the Fire Seal Cave.
  • Rinto used the Five Elements Unseal to extract Matatabi from Taku, who collapsed as his life force was taken.
  • Yawai learned that the Raikage had gone to the Land of Grass and that the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki had disappeared.
  • Yawai ordered Kumogakure to search for Ryūun, warn the Raikage, move villagers to shelters, and mobilize its combat forces.
  • The Eight-Tails emerged on the mountain opposite the Raikage Building, its tails coiling around the peak.

Ch. 97Kumogakure's Blood

Gyuki rampaged through Kumogakure, and Yawai led the village’s ninjas in fighting back and restraining it with Wind Lightning Chains. As the battle continued and the chains began to strain, Rinto watched from a distant mountain and admitted to Nekomata that he had planted Iwagakure’s Dark Child.

  • Gyuki attacked Kumogakure with Tailed Beast Balls, and Yawai ordered the villagers evacuated and the ninjas assembled.
  • Yawai directed the ninjas to destroy the mountain beneath Gyuki, bringing the beast down and devastating much of the village.
  • Yawai organized the ninjas into squads, ordered them to attack Gyuki’s eyes, and sent taijutsu teams forward with Wind Lightning Chains.
  • Kumogakure’s ninjas bound Gyuki with multiple chains, but Yawai worried they could not hold it long enough to weaken and seal it.
  • Rinto watched the destruction from a mountain near the Temple of Wind and Thunder and told Nekomata he had planted Iwagakure’s Dark Child.

Ch. 98Only Smile for You

Yawai left the Eight-Tails battle to find Sakuta Rinto and deliver news of the crisis, but found his home empty and confessed her love while believing he was gone. Rinto emerged from the bathroom, asked whether Yawai was hurt, and headed toward the Eight-Tails as she tearfully promised to smile only for him.

  • Yawai learned that Taku had died and the Two-Tails was gone, and suspected Sakuta Rinto was responsible.
  • Yawai handed command of the Eight-Tails battle to Tsuchimasu and went to search for Rinto.
  • Yawai found Rinto's dark, dusty home empty and confessed her fear, guilt, and love while lying on his bed.
  • Rinto emerged from the bathroom, and Yawai tearfully told him the Eight-Tails had bullied her.
  • Rinto wiped away Yawai's tears, criticized her forced smile, and walked toward the Eight-Tails as she said she would smile only for him.

Ch. 99Bonds That Cannot Be Severed

Rinto used Matatabi’s Chakra to unleash Lightning Style Chakra Mode and brutally defeated Gyuki before Kumogakure’s ninja, then regained control and apologized. A week later, Yawai mourned the real Raimui and accused Rinto of running away, while Rinto’s whereabouts remained unknown.

  • Rinto agreed to let Matatabi go out and play for two days after they defeated Gyuki, then transformed into Raimui and headed toward the Eight-Tails.
  • Rinto activated Lightning Style Chakra Mode and struck Gyuki, alarming the Cloud ninja who thought he was trying to free it.
  • After Gyuki broke loose and formed a Tailed Beast Ball, Rinto knocked it into the sky and severed Gyuki’s arm with Lightning Scythe.
  • Rinto lost control and savagely mutilated Gyuki until his fury faded, then apologized and explained that he had let the monster inside him out.
  • A week later, the village had begun rebuilding, and the Third Raikage continued his campaign after hearing Gyuki had been sealed into Fukai.
  • Yawai visited Raimui’s grave, called Rinto cunning for returning the real Raimui’s body, and tearfully called him a coward for disappearing.

Ch. 100Talent

Rinto visited Mizuguma’s grave, then returned to Konoha to accompany his younger sister Rie to her Ninja School graduation exam. There, Kagami described growing hostility toward him and the Uchiha Clan, while Rie impressed the crowd with unusual Water Release techniques.

  • Rinto poured sake at Mizuguma’s grave and promised to bring him back after taking down Amegakure.
  • Rinto reunited with Rie and accompanied her to her graduation exam, joking about his business ambitions along the way.
  • Kagami told Rinto that Uchiha hardliners and villagers had begun accusing him of currying favor and conspiring to become Hokage, even claiming his rescue of Tsunade was staged with Kumogakure.
  • Rie faced a Hyuga student in a graduation match and used viscous Water Release attacks to restrict and bind him.
  • Kagami praised Rie’s techniques as clever inventions, while Rinto blushed and denied teaching them.
