Background / History

Ye Qiu was an ordinary high-school student from Earth before arriving alone in the Battle Through the Heavens world. He became host to the Myriad Realms Shop, whose known functions were quests, purchases, and recycling. The System grants access to techniques, artifacts, powers, personnel, and goods from many worlds in exchange for Myriad Realms Coins. Ye Qiu generally accepts manageable missions because both their processes and rewards strengthen him. 1

Soon after arriving, he obtained and developed the Gravity Fruit, used its converted power to advance rapidly, and distinguished himself by killing Blue Eagle. Although initially perceived as an ordinary, amnesiac youth, he revealed himself as a Nine-Star Dou Zhe and earned the respect of Luo Danhe's group and the Little Fairy Doctor. 5 6

Using Fa Hai's strength and a System-imposed identity, Ye Qiu became the Pingyang Marquis of the ostensibly ancient Huaxia Empire. He compelled the Gama Empire to establish diplomatic relations, seized control of Green Mountain Town, and began transforming it into a technologically equipped Huaxia foothold. 12 13

His expanding summoned personnel, military, trade network, magical beasts, and System commerce eventually developed Green Mountain Town into Green Mountain City and later Huaxia Mall. As his authority surpassed the rank of marquis, he adopted the title Eastern Imperial Duke, later recognized as the Huaxia Eastern Emperor. 45 47 171

In later travels across multiple worlds, Ye Qiu pursued greater power, artifacts, and political influence. He became the Sun God in the Douluo Continent, but grew concerned that Godhood and divine thought were eroding his emotions. After traveling back to his own earlier era, his younger self confronted him with how indifferent he had become; Ye Qiu ultimately chose to relinquish the Sun God position and enter seclusion. 394 540 543

Ye Qiu is introduced as a thin, yellow-skinned teenage boy in hemp clothing. In later years, he is described as a handsome purple-robed man with a black hair crown and an imposing, deity-like bearing. 1 192
