Embarrassing, Mistakes Made

As for that 2.5 power, I'd always thought it meant 2.5 squared and never paid close attention. It wasn't until I read the chapter comments that I realized I might have misunderstood it.

Then I looked up Akutami-sensei's interview and confirmed that I was wrong. It really was to the 2.5 power. I'll post the original text below.

Assistant: (Middle of page 16 of this chapter) Why isn't it 2.5 times, but instead to the 2.5 power?

Akutami (slacking off): Excellent question. Using "times" as a unit, like Kaio-ken or Char's Zaku, makes it seem powerful and easy to understand... but Akutami wanted to pursue an impact greater than "times," so after wandering through the jungle and crossing the abyss of death, he found "powers." Twice 10 is 20, but 10 to the second power is 100! "Powers" are stronger than "times"!

Assistant: But 1 to the second power is still 1. Twice 1 is 2.

Akutami (shocked): What does cursed energy 1 even mean? Don't say such nonsensical things!

Assistant: Could you please stop getting embarrassed and angry?

Akutami: Therefore, cursed energy starts at a minimum of 2 (?)!
