Ch. 122Gathered Prayers, Part Two

Furihairu’s crew struggled to afford Tony’s rushed shipbuilding, so the tavern owner promised to handle the greedy shipwright while preparing to help Oshi reach Sky Island. He told Oshi to meet him at the western harbor the next morning, then went to Tony with a key and an offer to fund the ship.

  • Furihairu brought his pirates to Tony, who demanded 50 million berries to build their ship within a day.
  • The tavern owner told the crew to wait at the bay while he dealt with Tony, then closed and carefully cleaned his tavern.
  • The tavern owner asked Oshi whether she was willing to risk her life to reach Sky Island, and she said she was not worried about falling from such a height.
  • The tavern owner told Oshi to bring her companions to the western harbor the next morning, and she promised she would reach Sky Island for him and the others.
  • The tavern owner found Tony and handed him a key, telling him he could build the ship without going to the casino to make money.

Ch. 123Dreams' Wings, Part 1

The tavern owner offered Obe and her companions a way to reach Sky Island in exchange for taking his newly assembled ship with them. Obe doubted his motives, leaving the deal unresolved as the ship arrived at the harbor.

  • Obe questioned whether the tavern owner had told them the truth, while King prepared to leave the island the next morning if they got no answers.
  • Tony directed pirates through the night as they assembled a ship from salvaged parts, and the tavern owner told the Old Pirate that he still loved adventure.
  • The tavern owner met Oshi, Obe, and Wright at the western harbor and said he knew a way to reach Sky Island, though success depended on luck.
  • The tavern owner asked them to take his winged ship to Sky Island as payment for the route, but Obe refused to trust him without further proof.

Ch. 124Dreams' Wings, Part 2

Oshi learned that Christ Leica and the others wanted her crew to use their ship and the Upward Sea Current to reach Sky Island, carrying the dreams they could no longer pursue themselves. She promised to take their wishes to the heavens as the rare current and cloud were expected to appear that morning.

  • Obe rejected the islanders’ request, but Oshi insisted that they take the ship built from the crew’s dreams.
  • Leica revealed that he and the others could no longer make the voyage, and Oshi recognized him and Furihairu through the ship’s hooded spirits.
  • Leica explained his plan to ride the dangerous Upward Sea Current onto the Accumulated Emperor Cloud and said both would appear before noon.
  • Leica and the others bowed and asked Oshi to carry their dreams to Sky Island, and she promised she would.

Ch. 125Flying Again

Oshi and her crew rode the Upward Sea Current toward Sky Island, but the current faltered and their ship began to fall. Hearing Christ Leica and his companions’ desperate hopes, Oshi awakened crimson wings and stopped the ship’s descent, leaving them poised to fly onward.

  • Oshi chose to take the ship through the Upward Sea Current, and Wright and the others loaded their supplies and followed her plan.
  • Oshi’s crew reached the Accumulated Emperor Cloud, endured a massive whirlpool, and watched the Upward Sea Current launch their ship skyward.
  • Christ Leica and his companions realized the current lacked enough force to carry the ship to the cloud, and they feared Oshi’s crew would fall.
  • King prepared to rescue the crew as Oshi rushed to the bow and heard Leica and the others pleading for their dream to fly again.
  • Oshi answered their call, pulled the chain at the bow, and manifested enormous crimson wings that stopped the ship’s fall.
  • On Fenrir Island, Ra and Kaido talked about missing Oshi and the others and looked forward to their return.

Ch. 126Fly Higher

After witnessing Oshi tear open the sky, Furihairu took command of Leica’s ship and formed a new pirate crew bound for the New World. Far above the Blue Sea, guerrilla fighters encountered the same winged figure amid crimson light and golden lightning, and their captain fainted.

  • Leica recognized the figure who split the storm clouds as a god and decided to return to town.
  • Furihairu told Leica he wanted to sail again and head for the New World, and Leica gave him the ship.
  • Five people joined Furihairu, and the new Furihairu (Fly Higher) Pirate Crew set sail under a skull flag with crimson wings.
  • A guerrilla patrol on the White Sea spotted red light in the clouds and fled as the sea clouds churned and Sky Fish scattered.
  • The captain looked back and saw enormous wings amid crimson radiance and golden lightning before losing consciousness.

Ch. 127Sudden Attack

Oshi and her companions recovered on the White White Sea after Oshi’s transformed state knocked Wright and two others unconscious, then investigated their location while waiting for them to wake. When Shandia warriors arrived, they mistook the group for Blue Sea people and attacked Oshi with an Impact Cannon.

  • The Shandia captain woke atop a giant octopus, saw a vast electrified hole punched through the White Sea, and carried his unconscious warriors back toward the village.
  • Oshi showed Obe and King her new retractable wings while the group waited aboard their ship for Wright and two others to regain consciousness.
  • Oshi and Obe worried that they might be on another cloud layer, but King said the Record Pointer would lead them to the Golden Land.
  • King sensed about ten approaching people, and Oshi cleared the clouds with her wings so the group could see the incoming Shandia warriors.
  • The Shandia leader spotted the ship, called its occupants Blue Sea people, and fired an Impact Cannon at Oshi as she tried to greet them.

Ch. 128Father

Oshi captured a Shandia patrol after they attacked the ship and questioned their captain, Zanick, who refused to reveal his village’s location. When Zanick’s son Yuta arrived looking for him, King wounded Zanick and flew toward the boy.

  • Oshi dodged the Shandia warriors’ attack, knocked them unconscious, and brought them aboard the ship.
  • Oshi confiscated the Shandia weapons and questioned their captain, Zanick, while Obe examined the light-firing devices.
  • Zanick identified himself as a Shandia guerrilla captain but refused to reveal his village’s location, insisting he would rather die than betray it.
  • Zanick’s son Yuta arrived calling for his father and warned that the Sky People God Squad had come to the village again.
  • King pinned Zanick’s hand to the deck with a slash, then spread his wings and dove toward Yuta.

Ch. 129Child

King tortured Zanick and threatened his son Yuta until Yuta revealed that Shandora was the Shandia homeland and that Cloud Hidden Village was under attack. Oshi spared the captives and Obe treated Zanick’s wounds, then Oshi pressed Zanick to take them to the village as he struggled to choose between refusing and protecting his people.

  • King stabbed Zanick and threatened to cut his throat until Yuta revealed his identity and explained that the God Squad had attacked Cloud Hidden Village.
  • King questioned Yuta about Shandora, and Yuta confirmed that the Sky People had occupied the Shandia homeland centuries earlier.
  • Oshi freed Yuta and argued with King against killing the captives, while Obe bandaged Zanick’s wounds.
  • Zanick regained consciousness, learned from Yuta that the village was in danger, and resisted Oshi’s demand to lead the group there.
  • Oshi told Zanick to choose as he weighed the threat to his village against bringing dangerous strangers back with him.

Ch. 130Two Tribes

Gan Fall sought a truce with the Shandia chief to warn him about a red-winged creature wrapped in golden lightning that had entered the area. When Brahahati returned with unconscious teammates and reported a monster from the Blue Sea, the chief showed him the photograph to confirm what he had encountered.

  • Gan Fall met the Shandia chief beneath Calgara’s statue and proposed discussing the future of their peoples, but Shandia and Sky People warriors argued over Upper Yard.
  • Gan Fall showed the chief a photograph of devastation caused by a creature with enormous red wings and golden lightning, and the chief recognized the danger to both peoples.
  • Brahahati returned with several unconscious guerrilla squad members and warned the Shandia that a monster had come up from the Blue Sea.
  • The Shandia chief and Gan Fall pulled Brahahati aside, and the chief asked whether the monster he had seen was the one in the photograph.

Ch. 131Crisis

Brahahati's account of a huge winged monster led Gan Fall and the Shandia chief to prepare their people and consider working together against the threat. Wright's group crashed onto the island clouds and headed for Cloud Hidden Village with Zanick, where they learned the chief was dealing with a terrifying natural disaster.

  • Brahahati told Gan Fall and the Shandia chief that a monster with red wings had appeared over the White Sea and knocked him and others unconscious.
  • Gan Fall and the chief agreed to return to their people and prepare to face the threat together.
  • The Shandia chief ordered the elderly, children, and women to stay in the village and told the warriors to prepare for battle.
  • Gan Fall ordered Prester to warn Angel Island's residents and gather the God Squad for battle.
  • Wright and his companions crashed their pirate ship onto the island clouds, then followed Zanick toward Cloud Hidden Village.
  • A Shandia warrior told Zanick that the chief urgently wanted him because of a terrifying natural disaster.

Ch. 132Contact

Oshi and her companions reached Cloud Hidden Village, where she asked the chief for directions to Shandora and learned about the Shandia’s history with Noland. Zanick was devastated to hear that Noland had been executed and remembered as a liar, before an unidentified speaker argued that the two old friends’ failure to reunite may have been for the best.

  • The Shandia warrior led Zanick, Oshi, Obe, King, and the others through the clouds to Cloud Hidden Village.
  • Oshi introduced herself to the chief, pretended to cry over Zanick’s attack on her, and secured his promise of compensation.
  • Oshi asked the chief where Shandora was, prompting him and the nearby warriors to react with suspicion.
  • Zanick rushed forward when Oshi mentioned Noland, then collapsed after she told him Noland had been executed and mocked as a liar.
  • The chief explained that Noland had saved the Shandia people and been Calgara’s dearest friend, but a cold voice said their failure to reunite may have been the best ending.

Ch. 133A Deal

Obe argued that Noland’s arrival might have doomed Shandora and challenged the Shandia’s faith in their ancestors’ story. She offered the chieftain a deal to help reclaim their homeland in exchange for its gold and the Shandia joining the Beasts Pirates, then left him a day to decide.

  • Obe described how Noland’s discovery of Shandora could have brought invaders and ruin, but Yuta and the Shandia insisted that Noland and Calgara’s friendship would have endured.
  • Obe offered to help the Shandia reclaim Shandora if they handed over its gold and joined the Beasts Pirates.
  • Zanick rejected Obe’s offer and insisted that the Shandia would reclaim their homeland themselves.
  • Obe told the chieftain that cooperation was the Shandia’s only chance, and he asked for time to consider the deal.
  • Obe gave the chieftain until the next day to answer, promised not to contact the Sky People in the meantime, and left after commenting on Calgara’s cloud statue.

Ch. 134Each Other's Choices, Part One

Obe explained why Beasts should help the Shandia reclaim Shandora and persuade them to guard it afterward. The Shandia chief faced pressure from his warriors as he considered whether to cooperate with the outsiders.

  • Wright asked King why he had become more patient, and King said he wanted to see how far Oshi and Obe could go.
  • Obe told Oshi that she had deliberately scolded the Shandia to make them recognize their weakness and accept cooperation.
  • Obe explained that the Shandia could guard the Golden Land for Beasts, would become loyal allies after being helped home, and had shell weapons that could inspire her first weapon design.
  • King praised Obe's plan, while Oshi agreed and privately suspected Obe would have chosen to help the Shandia regardless.
  • Shandia warriors argued over whether their chief should trust the outsiders, and the chief asked Zanick for his opinion.

Ch. 135Each Other's Choices, Part Two

Zanick agreed to cooperate with Obe and her companions, though the Shandia would first test whether they could help reclaim Shandora. At their next meeting, the Beasts and the Shandia negotiated terms, and Obe explained that her crew commanded a vast territory rather than operating as an ordinary band of pirates.

  • Zanick agreed to trust the outsiders, but said they would have to prove their strength before the Shandia offered friendship.
  • The following evening, the Shandia chief agreed to cooperate with Obe and asked the Beasts to reclaim Shandora, protect the Shandia from the Sky People, and leave the Golden Bell and Poneglyph untouched.
  • The chief demanded that Shandora remain Shandia land, and Obe agreed on the condition that the Beasts could station armed forces there.
  • Obe set the Beasts' conditions: Shandora would nominally belong to them, the Shandia would provide a combat squad, and they would share relevant technology.
  • Obe explained that the Beasts were a large Pirate Crew with more than a dozen islands, exclusive seas, and shipping routes under their command.

Ch. 136The Great Warrior's Resolve, Part 1

The Shandia chief accepted Obe’s terms, but Zanick demanded proof that she could help reclaim Shandora and challenged her to a fight. After Obe withstood his attacks without moving, Zanick unleashed a final shell that struck her with a shockwave far stronger than his previous Impact Dial.

  • The chief accepted Obe’s terms, and Zanick asked to test her strength before the cooperation was finalized.
  • Obe sent Zanick crashing through several tents with a wave of force, but he insisted on continuing the fight.
  • Zanick attacked Obe with his cannon and various Dial-powered weapons, but none of them harmed her.
  • Zanick used a Light Dial to cover his approach, then activated a shell against Obe’s chest that produced a shockwave ten times stronger than his earlier Impact Dial.

Ch. 137The Great Warrior's Resolve, Part Two

Zanick risked his life fighting Obe with an Impact Dial, then entrusted the Shandia and their ancestors’ final wish to her before passing out. After the fight, the Shandia celebrated with Obe’s group, while Brahahati remained worried that a monster with red wings might still threaten Sky Island.

  • Zanick used a powerful Impact Dial against Obe, losing part of his arm before collapsing and entrusting the Shandia’s future to her.
  • Obe handed Zanick to the Shaman Doctor, promised the chief that the next generation would grow up on solid earth, and accepted his handshake.
  • The Shandia gathered around a bonfire and celebrated with Obe’s group, while the ship’s doctor and navigator entertained the villagers with stories about the Blue Sea.
  • Zanick apologized to Oshi for attacking her, and she comforted him and sent him back to rest.
  • Brahahati told Yuta and Oshi that a monster with red wings could destroy Sky Island, though a guerrilla soldier suggested it might have already left.

Ch. 138Sortie

Obe and the Shandia marched to Shandora to reclaim their homeland, while Gan Fall prepared the Sky People for a possible attack. The chapter ended as a priest crashed into the temple and Obe called for the Sky People to come out and sign a treaty.

  • Obe told King she planned to demonstrate overwhelming power to both races while keeping the Shandia weaker and preserving the possibility of learning from the Sky People.
  • At dawn, Zanick led more than a hundred Shandia warriors toward Shandora to reclaim their ancestral homeland.
  • Obe, King, and Oshi flew ahead with the injured Zanick, and Zanick stepped barefoot onto Shandora's soil for the first time.
  • Oshi knocked out the Sky Island Divine Soldiers who confronted the group, and Obe led the Shandia farther into the island.
  • Gan Fall confirmed that his troops and their families were prepared when a priest crashed through the temple wall and Obe demanded that the Sky People sign a treaty.

Ch. 139An Unshakable Figure

Obe led the Shandia to demand that Gan Fall and the God Squad leave Upper Yard, their ancestral homeland. After Obe effortlessly repelled the soldiers and subdued them with Conqueror’s Haki, Gan Fall surrendered, leaving the Shandia in control of the confrontation.

  • Gan Fall assembled more than six hundred God Squad members and confronted Obe’s group outside the shrine.
  • Obe declared that Upper Yard belonged to the Shandia and demanded that the Sky People leave.
  • A God Squad soldier shot at Zanick, but Obe caught the arrow and hurled it back, killing him.
  • The God Squad attacked Obe, but she scattered their arrows with a gale and knocked the soldiers down.
  • Obe released Conqueror’s Haki, pinning the God Squad to the ground until Gan Fall surrendered.
  • Zanick watched Obe and wondered whether she was the incarnation of Vearth sent to help the Shandia reclaim their homeland.

Ch. 140God Hand Impact!

After the Shandia reclaimed Shandora and forced the Sky People to sign a treaty, Obe used a devastating attack to make the Sky People understand the treaty would be enforced. The chapter left both peoples terrified as Obe declared that her strike was the treaty’s missing stamp.

  • Gan Fall and the priests signed a treaty recognizing Shandia sovereignty over Shandora and ordering the Sky People to leave.
  • The Shandia celebrated as more than six hundred Sky People crossed the cloud bridge toward Angel Island, while Gan Fall asked Zanick for Vearth and apologized.
  • After Oshi warned that the Sky People still harbored malice, Obe leapt into the air and gathered destructive force in her left hand.
  • The Sky People panicked as Obe’s black star descended, and her God Hand Crush tore through the cloud bridge, Island Clouds, and the sea clouds below.
  • Obe told the terrified Shandia and Sky People that she had forgotten to stamp the treaty and was making up for it.

Ch. 141Scheming Every Step of the Way

The Shandia celebrated Shandora’s return while Oshi, Obe, and the warriors searched the island for its legendary gold. Oshi found and brought down the Golden Bell, revealing a Poneglyph, while Obe remained frustrated that she had not awakened.

  • Yuta rushed to the chief’s tent with news that the Shandia had retaken Shandora, and the chief tearfully celebrated with him.
  • Oshi and Obe searched Shandora with Zanick and the Shandia warriors, but they found no gold and struggled to navigate the overgrown island.
  • Obe brooded over her failure to awaken after helping the Shandia, comparing her actions with Oshi’s and wondering whether she needed to destroy Sky Island.
  • Burufatt returned to Fenrir Island with an invitation sent nearly seven months ahead of time, and Ra told him that Captain Kaido had left the previous night.
  • Oshi returned from scouting and told the Shandia leaders she had found the Golden Bell, then carried its enormous tower down to the ground with a Poneglyph set in its base.
