Mu Ningxue grew up in Bocheng alongside Mo Fan and Lin Lan; Mo Fan recalls the three watching activity around the Mu Family estate together as children. Before Mo Fan’s duel with Yu Ang, she worried that he and Lin Lan were drinking rather than preparing, then offered Mo Fan her wishes for victory. 33

During the Bocheng disaster, she sought out Mo Fan and embraced him in relief after finding him alive. She attempted to stop Mo Fan and Lin Lan from entering the dangerous city to hunt demons. 39

By the Imperial Capital Academy exchange, Mu Ningxue served as her academy’s captain.
