After Liu Ning joined Lin Lan’s team and explained how the feathered demons had overrun West Mountain Valley, the group headed toward Dongzhao Valley to reach the Thunder Crystals. They tried to slip past hundreds of sentinel birds by having Mo Fan draw their attention while Liu Ning cast Mind Magic, and Liu Ning began the spell as the birds swarmed him.

• Liu Ning told Lin Lan’s team that she was a Military Commander with a high-level Ice Element and an Intermediate Level Full Cultivation Mind Element, and described how the feathered demons had overwhelmed her team.
• Ling Ling revised the group’s route toward Dongzhao Valley, and Lei Hanhai buried the corpses they found along the way.
