There were few vehicles on this stretch of road to begin with, and it only had two lanes. The two people blocking the road charged in from the left and right, completely sealing it off. One side was a cliff, the other a mountainside, neither wide enough for the car to pass. There was nowhere to evade!
Happy's expression turned grave as he fixed his eyes on the two people charging at them as though they had no regard for their lives. Not only did he not slow down, he floored the accelerator and shouted to Pepper.
"Hold on tight!"
Pepper craned her head from the back seat and saw the two people rushing toward the car. She naturally knew something was wrong and immediately wrapped her arms tightly around the front seat's backrest, her eyes still fixed ahead.
The distance between them had not been great to begin with. In the blink of an eye, the car barreled right up to the two of them. Through the windshield, Happy and Pepper could clearly see the expressions on their faces.
They were about to be hit by the speeding car. Though it had not yet reached top speed, it was more than enough to seriously injure an ordinary person. Yet Happy and Pepper saw not the slightest panic or fear on the two people's faces. Instead, they looked utterly relaxed and disdainful.
The next moment, the two sides finally collided!
The two charging attackers still did not dodge. They were struck hard by the front of the car, one on each side. The tremendous impact instantly dented the front bumper, and their bodies slammed heavily onto the hood!
