Ah, Li Qi observed the society of these Bug People.

They seemed to practice completely socialized child-rearing. As Li Qi traveled through the place, he saw a great many schools.

Or rather... they could be called "hatching nests."

Large numbers of insect eggs and larvae that had yet to develop were gathered together and raised by specialized Bug People.

It could only be called raising... Those larvae were packed together in dense heaps. When Li Qi passed overhead as they wriggled in the hatching nests, even he felt that the scene was somewhat unsuitable for humanoid creatures to watch.

Yet the Bug People seemed accustomed to it. Those larvae apparently did not count as "people." They likely underwent a strict selection process, with most being killed, and only the survivors growing into adults.

It was just that... in this selection process, Li Qi seemed to glimpse the shadow of Heaven's Will.

It appeared to be a fortuitous coincidence, yet was actually destined from the start.

Interesting. Did anything connected to the world naturally become tainted by such things? Or was this ship actually the territory of some major power?

Li Qi watched these Bug People martial artists, unable to suppress his curiosity.

The martial arts they cultivated were not low-grade. They could even be called... rather advanced. If Li Qi had not been fourth rank and possessed a commanding view from a lofty height, he might not necessarily have won in a direct battle against Bug People martial artists of the same rank.

In other words, the martial arts they cultivated absolutely could not have been created by themselves. Someone else must have taught them.

Then... within the world, how many factions possessed martial arts of this caliber?
