The Taxila Kingdom spanned over two thousand li, while its great capital city had a circumference of more than ten li.

The royal line within the kingdom had died out, and the tribal chiefs competed in strength. It had once been subject to the Kapisa Kingdom, and recently had become a vassal of the Kashmira Kingdom. The land was called fertile soil, its crops flourishing, with many springs and luxuriant flowers and fruits.

The seasons were gentle and pleasant, and the people's customs valued courage lightly. They revered the Three Treasures. Though there were many monasteries, they had become exceedingly desolate, with few monks, and all studied Mahayana Buddhism.

Li Qi and Shen Shuibi took a brief rest here.

In truth, Li Qi had come following the guidance of his sixth sense. He himself did not know why he had descended here, but that was the way of a Shaman.

Shamans had always done things this way.

This was a relatively barbaric kingdom. It had only one eighth-rank monk, though there were many eighth-rank martial artists, and even some primitive Shamans. The kingdom was embroiled in warfare and slaughter, with endless chaotic battles and not a trace of Buddha-nature.

Just as had been said before: its customs valued courage lightly; though there were many monasteries, they had become exceedingly desolate, with few monks.

Yet it was, after all, located within the Buddhist Kingdoms. Monks often passed through to spread the Dharma, so what was practiced here was not Buddha-Demon Dual Cultivation, but Mahayana Buddhism.

Shen Shuibi and Li Qi were briefly resting in the present Mahayana Buddhist Temple.

The main reason was that Shen Shuibi had just awakened from her deductions and fallen into the same state Li Qi had once experienced:
