Spending His Way to a Dou Shi

After simply tending to his wounds, Xiao Bai found a place to sit and rest.

As the green light wrapped around his body, Xiao Bai felt the pain from his wound begin to lessen. As time passed, the pain eventually disappeared altogether.

The wound began to scab over. After some time, the scab slowly fell away, revealing skin as smooth as a newborn baby's.

"Damn, that's amazing! I won't have to fear getting injured anymore."

Xiao Bai nodded repeatedly, clearly showing just how satisfied he was with this Dou Technique.

After witnessing the effects of Healing Light, Xiao Bai looked forward even more to the power of his other Dou Technique, Spear of Light.

Xiao Bai said nothing more and immediately found an open space to test it.

He spread his hand. As the Dou Qi within his body circulated along a particular route, his palm began to glow. The light writhed like flowing water, changing shape in Xiao Bai's hand until it finally formed into a spear.

The spearhead was incomparably sharp, radiating chilling killing intent and flickering with traces of lightning and sacred purifying power. Behind it was a round shaft.

One section of the shaft was no longer round but somewhat irregular in shape. That was clearly where the user was meant to grip it.

Xiao Bai swung the spear through the air, producing a series of crackling sounds.

It was caused by the flow of electricity.

Without any further movement, he assumed a throwing stance with the spear.

The spear tore through the air and shot toward a large tree not far away at tremendous speed.

"Smack~"

"Creak, creak..."

First came the sound of impact, followed by a harsh screech.

Xiao Bai did not even need to look to know that it was the groan of a tree unable to bear the strain.

With a single glance, Xiao Bai saw a fist-sized hole in the middle of the tree. Through it, he could see that a tree farther away had been pierced by an identical hole.

A gentle breeze passed by, and the trees let out creaks of strain as the wind brushed against them.

"What terrifying penetration!"

Xiao Bai was extremely satisfied with these two Dou Techniques. He was even more confident about avenging his earlier grudge.
