When the front door swung wide open, Thor finally saw the person behind it.
He was a short man who looked to be in his thirties or forties. There was a red birthmark on his left cheek, and his chin was covered in stubble. It was obvious its owner had not shaved for at least a week. It was August, and the temperature was still high, yet the air conditioner was not on. Only an electric fan was struggling to work, making a creaking noise whenever it turned its head.
The Man with a birthmark was bare-chested, wearing only slippers and a pair of shorts. He warily sized up Set and Thor, but before he could say anything, Thor shoved him aside. Thor then rushed into the room like a whirlwind, roaring, "Sif, Sif! Don't be afraid, I'm here to save you!"
The Man with a birthmark was both shocked and furious. He shrieked, "What are you doing?!"
As he spoke, he scrambled back up from the floor and rushed forward, trying to grab Thor, who was about to charge deeper into the apartment. But compared to Thor, his small frame and strength were like an ant facing an elephant.
Thor merely shoved him aside with less than twenty percent of his strength, sending him flying again. This time, his back struck the wall, and he could not get back up for quite a while. Still, enduring the pain, he shouted, "Bastard, you can't go in! You can't go in!!! This is my home!"
Set, standing nearby, said helplessly, "Didn't we agree five minutes ago that we would negotiate first?"
"There's someone in the inner room." Thor did not have time to care about that. He reached out and pushed at the inner room's door. "I heard someone crying inside."
