Psyche's office was quite unusual.
Aside from the over-three-meter-long executive desk in the center, which looked like something that belonged in an office, the rest resembled a princess-style apartment. Twenty-four wardrobes stood along the walls, forming a circle that almost completely surrounded the office. A round canopy bed sat in the northeast corner, while a small pink castle stood to Miss Succubus's right, with two Persian cats sprawled atop it.
Psyche held a British Shorthair in her arms, petting it with one hand while holding a fashion magazine in the other and browsing the new clothes coming out next season. However, when she saw Zhang Heng and Miss Succubus, she showed no arrogance. She set down the magazine, placed the British Shorthair on the executive desk, then extended her hand with a smile.
"Emilia told me you were coming. I didn't expect you to arrive so quickly. You must be Trista..." Psyche shook hands with Miss Succubus, then looked at Zhang Heng. "Uh..."
"Ma Wei," Zhang Heng introduced himself.
"Hello, Mr. Ma Wei." Psyche extended her hand to Zhang Heng as well, showing no different treatment just because he was human.
After they shook hands and took their seats, even Miss Succubus couldn't help a strange look flashing through her eyes as she sank into a Hello Kitty beanbag chair.
Zhang Heng, on the other hand, seemed completely unaffected by the overwhelming girlish atmosphere in the room. He placed the gift he was carrying in front of Psyche.
Psyche seemed somewhat surprised, but she was clearly delighted when she saw what was in the bag. She then pressed a button on the desk, and the wardrobe doors around the room slowly opened.
