Zhang Heng tried starting the engine he had removed from the Polo in his new home to charge the battery, then took a PS4 Pro from his duffel bag.
This PS4 Pro had been his prize for participating in the first Proxy War, limited to the top fifty players.
There was nothing special about the console itself; it was identical to those sold on the market. The only difference was that it came with a game called "Endless Journey" preinstalled.
Zhang Heng connected the PS4 Pro to the battery. The God of Games, Game, had disappeared more than a month earlier, but Zhang Heng still remembered what he had said during their first—and last—meeting in the Chernobyl instance.
Game had told him that if he wanted to contact him, he could do so through this PS4 Pro.
Without Game's PSN account, there was no doubt that the method of contact he had mentioned was hidden within Endless Journey.
In fact, Zhang Heng had been playing this xianxia game whenever he had free time recently.
Its campaign was astonishingly long, fully deserving the name Endless Journey. But Zhang Heng had twenty-four more hours than most people, and after accumulating so much time, he had finally come close to clearing it.
