Including the time from the previous instance, Zhang Heng realized he had been away from home for a very long time.

So long that he could barely remember the little details of living with his grandfather during high school.

His grandfather undoubtedly looked younger now, but in terms of lifestyle, although the world had developed rapidly over the years and technology changed with each passing day, it had not really affected him much. He still retained many of his old habits.

In today's popular terms, his grandfather had probably always been rather old school and had not changed much with the times.

Hearing the sound of the door opening, his grandfather did not even look up. "You're home earlier than usual today."

After a pause, he added, "Dinner's in the pot. We're having curry chicken tonight. Serve yourself as much as you want."

"Mm," Zhang Heng replied. He did not put down his backpack. After changing his shoes, he went straight into the kitchen, served himself a bowl of rice, ladled curry over it, and carried the plate toward his bedroom.

His grandfather said nothing at that, only reminding him, "Don't drop any rice on the floor."

After closing the door, Zhang Heng first dismantled the Gundam beneath his bed and assembled a small cat. Then he inserted Infinite Blocks into it. The Lego cat immediately came to life. After landing on the floor, it licked its paw and tried to crawl into the cardboard box where Zhang Heng kept his test papers.

Zhang Heng ignored it. Instead, he spread a tissue on the floor, then scooped out a potato from the curry along with some rice and placed them on the tissue.

After doing all that, he picked up the kitten again.
