In the blink of an eye, it was Friday.
With the holiday in sight, the atmosphere in the classroom was noticeably more relaxed than before. Especially compared to the nerve-racking Monday, when everyone's faces seemed to spell out "dead inside," everyone looked far more at ease now, and more people in the front and back rows were chatting and laughing.
If you arranged a high school student's weekly emotional state on a scale, Monday would probably be rock bottom. A new week had begun, and the thought of having five more days to endure was utterly despairing. Tuesday was slightly better than Monday, while by Wednesday, the first light of the holiday could finally be seen, putting their mood somewhere around the middle.
By Thursday, many people were already thinking about where to go and what to do over the weekend, and they started getting excited. Then came Friday.
