"Remove their shackles," said the head of the school.
"Are you sure?" The slave trader hesitated. "They're no ordinary men, and they're not obedient in the slightest. Shouldn't we call for more hands?"
"If we can't even handle them, there's no point in running a school. We might as well shut down early," the school head said flatly.
Hearing this, the slave trader finally stopped hesitating and opened the wooden door of the prison wagon.
The Germanic captives stepped down from the wagon one after another. The most powerfully built man among them narrowed his eyes at the school head, then casually rolled his wrists and ankles as though no one else were there.
The slave trader turned to look at the school head on the other side.
The latter said, "Hurry up. Stop dawdling."
The slave trader took out his keys and unlocked the chains on the Germanic peoples. He deliberately left the biggest man for last, but something still went wrong. The instant he removed the man's shackles, the other man seized him by the throat and lifted him off the ground with one hand.
The slave trader struggled desperately, kicking wildly and futilely trying to pry open the Germanic man's hand. But to his opponent, his resistance was soft and powerless.
His face turned bright red as he felt the oxygen slowly draining from his body.
Yet neither the two trainers nor the six gladiators reacted.
Just as the slave trader's consciousness grew increasingly hazy and he thought he was about to die here, the hulking Germanic man suddenly released him.
The slave trader dropped back to the ground, his toes touching down first. But then his legs gave way, and he fell to his knees before the hulking Germanic man.
