Ch. 221Jiufeng and Chi You, Overwhelmed by Favor

Kunpeng created Demon Script, earning Heavenly Dao merit for himself, the Demon Clan, Wu Tian, and the Witch Clan. Wu Tian rewarded Jiufeng and Chi You with treasures and half of his own merit, leaving them stunned by his generosity.

  • Kunpeng completed the Three Thousand Demon Characters, which became a merit-bound treasure, while merit also flowed to the Four Demon Emperors, the Demon Clan, and the Witch Clan.
  • Kunpeng credited Wu Tian with inspiring Demon Script, prompting Di Jun to resolve to visit the Witch Clan and clarify its intentions.
  • Jiufeng reported seeing Di Jun and Taiyi, while Chi You delivered Zhen Yuanzi's thanks, three Ginseng Fruits, and word that Zhen Yuanzi would join Wu Tian's Earth Deity plans if he failed to attain enlightenment.
  • Wu Tian gave one Ginseng Fruit each to Jiufeng and Chi You, kept the third, and also bestowed three Innate Ren Water Peaches on each of them.
  • When Demon Script was born, Wu Tian received his share of Heavenly Dao merit and gave half of it to Jiufeng and Chi You, leaving them astonished and reluctant to accept.

Ch. 222Taiyi, You're Not Allowed to Go!

Wu Tian explained why he had helped Kunpeng and worried that the Witch and Demon Clans might be heading toward an uncontrollable war. Kunpeng severed his good corpse, separated his Demon Clan ties into the Kunpeng Demon Master, and set out to thank Wu Tian, while Di Jun decided to accompany him and forbade Taiyi from going.

  • Wu Tian gave Chi You and Jiufeng Heavenly Dao merit and urged them to cultivate primordial spirits in the Bitter Bamboo Forest.
  • Wu Tian told Houtu that Demon Script’s emergence was inevitable, but Kunpeng’s ties to the Demon Clan could be changed to benefit the Witch Clan.
  • Kunpeng broke through to Quasi-Sage and severed his good corpse using the Demon Master Palace, with Di Jun’s aid.
  • Kunpeng named his good corpse the Kunpeng Demon Master and transferred his Demon Clan Fortune to it, leaving his true body free to distance itself from the clan.
  • Kunpeng announced that he would visit Wu Tian to thank him, and Di Jun insisted on going with him.
  • Taiyi tried to follow, but Di Jun ordered him not to go.

Ch. 223Nine Heavens Breathing Earth, Nüwa's Anger

Kunpeng, Di Jun, Taiyi, Fuxi, and Nüwa set out for the Witch Clan after Kunpeng revealed that Wu Tian had given him the Nine Heavens Breathing Earth. Nüwa planned to use her anger over the gift to seek guidance about her path of creation, while Wu Tian learned they were coming and welcomed the chance to face her challenge.

  • Di Jun refused Taiyi's request to join the visit at first, fearing his temper would provoke a war with the Witch Clan.
  • Nüwa learned Wu Tian had given Kunpeng the Nine Heavens Breathing Earth and decided to accompany him, angered that she had traded the Innate Red Hydrangea for the same treasure.
  • Nüwa told Fuxi that her Dao lay in creation and considered seeking Wu Tian's guidance, while Fuxi worried her angry approach might backfire.
  • Di Jun agreed to let Taiyi come after Taiyi promised to behave, and Kunpeng formed the Three Thousand Demon Characters into a boat for the group.
  • Wu Tian received Kunpeng's message that the group was coming and learned Nüwa intended to cause him trouble over the Nine Heavens Breathing Earth.

Ch. 224Xuan Ming's Might

Wu Tian met Di Jun, Taiyi, Nüwa, Fuxi, and Kunpeng outside the Houtu Tribe after Hou Tu guessed Nüwa wanted cultivation guidance. When Nüwa accused Wu Tian of demanding the Innate Red Hydrangea in exchange for Nine Heavens Breathing Earth, Xuan Ming intervened, attacked her with the treasure, and defended Wu Tian.

  • Hou Tu reasoned that Nüwa’s visit likely had another purpose, and Wu Tian guessed she wanted guidance on the Dao of Creation.
  • Kunpeng arrived with the four Demon Emperors to thank Wu Tian for his help with Demon Script.
  • Wu Tian called his trade with Nüwa fair, prompting Nüwa to accuse him of insisting on the Innate Red Hydrangea.
  • Xuan Ming rushed in and attacked Nüwa with the Innate Red Hydrangea, while Fuxi raised barriers to protect her.
  • Fuxi and Di Jun tried to calm Xuan Ming and explained that the Demon Clan had come to thank Wu Tian.
  • Wu Tian praised Xuan Ming in a voice transmission, pleased that her intervention worked better than his own plan.

Ch. 225Seeking to Trade for Enlightenment Tea

Nüwa abandoned her attempt to pressure Wu Tian into giving her the Nine Heavens Breathing Earth, apologized, and left after he rejected her claim of friendship. Di Jun then asked Wu Tian to trade Enlightenment Tea, but Wu Tian demanded the Innate Star Tree instead of its fruit.

  • Fuxi urged Nüwa to stop using force, so she apologized to Wu Tian and said her recent cultivation difficulties had unsettled her.
  • Wu Tian defended his freedom to give away his treasures and told Nüwa that their relationship was only transactional.
  • Nüwa left the Houtu Tribe in humiliation, and Fuxi apologized before following her.
  • Houtu asked Wu Tian whether Nüwa's departure would disrupt his plans, and he said he could wait for her or approach her himself.
  • Di Jun offered Wu Tian an Innate Star Fruit for Enlightenment Tea, but Wu Tian said he wanted the Innate Star Tree instead.

Ch. 226Can Still Be Negotiated

Di Jun questioned Wu Tian about demon script and the Witch Clan’s stance toward the Demon Clan, then suggested that both clans could coexist in the Primordial World. As Di Jun prepared to leave without trading for the Enlightenment Tea, Wu Tian offered to negotiate for other treasures instead.

  • Di Jun used Hetu Luoshu to conceal their conversation and asked Wu Tian how he knew about demon script and why he had allowed it to be created.
  • Wu Tian credited Father God's legacy and said the Witch Clan had not stopped Kunpeng’s opportunity, while boasting that the Witch Clan had nothing to fear from the Demon Clan’s growth.
  • Di Jun asked Wu Tian whether the Witch and Demon Clans were destined to fight, and Wu Tian urged him not to pursue domination through Fortune.
  • Wu Tian and Di Jun revealed that they both possessed the method of attaining Dao through Fortune, and Di Jun said the Primordial World had room for both clans.
  • Di Jun decided to leave without trading for the Innate Star Tree, but Wu Tian showed him a box of Enlightenment Tea and offered to negotiate for other treasures.

Ch. 227How Could I Withstand Such a Test?

Di Jun traded the Innate Water Spirit Pearl to Wu Tian for Innate Enlightenment Tea, then warned Taiyi that the Dragon Clan might have manipulated them and forbade him from seeking revenge. After they left, Wu Tian gave Kunpeng three Innate Peaches, leaving Kunpeng uneasy about remaining neutral between the Witch and Demon Clans.

  • Di Jun ordered Taiyi to trade the Innate Water Spirit Pearl to Wu Tian for Innate Enlightenment Tea, and Wu Tian asked whether Taiyi would trade the Chaos Bell.
  • Di Jun stopped Taiyi from pursuing Wu Tian and explained that the Dragon Clan may have supplied the tea and manipulated the exchange.
  • Di Jun forbade Taiyi from going to the East Sea to confront the Dragon Clan and wondered what Wu Tian intended by asking about the Chaos Bell.
  • Wu Tian told Kunpeng he was glad to have obtained the pearl and complained that Di Jun had put away the Innate Star Fruit before Wu Tian could ask for a branch.
  • Wu Tian gave Kunpeng three Innate Peaches, and Kunpeng accepted them while worrying that Wu Tian’s generosity would draw him toward the Witch Clan.

Ch. 228Nüwa Returns

After Fuxi advised Nüwa to set aside her pride and openly trade for Wu Tian’s guidance, she returned to the Houtu Tribe to ask what treasure he wanted. Wu Tian had been considering how to gather the remaining Innate Five Elements Spirit Pearls, and the chapter ended with Nüwa calmly asking him what she must offer.

  • Kunpeng thanked Wu Tian for the Innate Peach and left to return to the North Sea and cultivate.
  • Houtu suggested that Wu Tian ask Queen Mother of the West to help him obtain the remaining Innate Five Elements Spirit Pearls, and she offered to contact her.
  • Fuxi told Nüwa that she had mishandled her dealings with Wu Tian and should make a straightforward trade for his guidance.
  • Nüwa accepted Fuxi’s advice, parted from him, and returned to the Houtu Tribe alone.
  • Nüwa asked Wu Tian what treasure she must offer for him to reveal the opportunity he had mentioned.

Ch. 229Answer Me One Request

Nüwa returned to the Witch Clan seeking help to comprehend her opportunity to attain the Dao, and Wu Tian agreed in exchange for one future request. After Nüwa accepted his terms, Wu Tian prepared to take her to find her opportunity, keeping the request and his plans secret from her and the others.

  • Wu Tian teased Nüwa about trading for her Innate Spiritual Treasures, angering her before assuring her that he would help.
  • Xuan Ming grew displeased with Nüwa, but Houtu stopped her and reminded her that Wu Tian had his own plans.
  • Wu Tian said he would help Nüwa without taking her treasures if she agreed to one request, but he refused to reveal it until after she attained the Dao.
  • Nüwa rejected the vague request and offered Wu Tian her Rivers and Mountains State Shrines Map instead, but Wu Tian promised his request would be beneficial and invoked Pangu as witness.
  • Nüwa accepted Wu Tian's terms, and he announced that he would take her to find her opportunity to attain the Dao.

Ch. 230Could It Be a Ferocious Beast?

Wu Tian guided Nüwa toward understanding the Dao of Creation, and she began creating new species as they traveled. When he asked her to make a creature for the Witch Clan to eat, Nüwa pointed out that Ferocious Beasts already fit his requirements, so Wu Tian sent Jiufeng to ask Kunpeng to capture some.

  • Wu Tian tasked Xuan Ming and Houtu with keeping the Great Witches in line and gave Houtu Enlightenment Tea and Innate Peaches to distribute.
  • Wu Tian walked with Nüwa toward Mount Buzhou and guided her to create something beneficial to the Primordial Wilderness.
  • Nüwa used Nine Heavens Breathing Earth and spiritual liquid to create new species, while Wu Tian collected them in his Origin Realm.
  • Wu Tian asked Nüwa to create a strong, vital, unintelligent species with Baleful Qi for the Witch Clan to eat.
  • Nüwa told Wu Tian that Ferocious Beasts still lived near the world's edges and in the deep sea, especially in the Northern Darkness.
  • Wu Tian summoned Jiufeng and sent her to the North Sea to ask Kunpeng to capture Ferocious Beasts.

Ch. 231Nüwa, Let's Create Humans

Wu Tian arranged for Kunpeng to supply the Witch Clan with North Sea Ferocious Beasts, then guided Nüwa to the valley where the Innate Calabash Vine had grown. By urging her to create humans with Innate Dao Bodies, he brought her to the brink of realizing her opportunity to attain the Dao.

  • Wu Tian sent Jiufeng to the North Sea to capture Ferocious Beasts as food for the Witch Clan in the Origin Realm.
  • Kunpeng understood Wu Tian's intent and promised Jiufeng he would personally bring live North Sea Ferocious Beasts to the Witch Clan.
  • Wu Tian took Nüwa to the valley of the Innate Calabash Vine and restored the vine to its original place.
  • Wu Tian asked Nüwa why Innate beings traveled in human form, prompting her to recognize the human form as an Innate Dao Body.
  • Wu Tian urged Nüwa to create humans, and the Primordial Violet Qi within her primordial spirit nearly merged as she grasped her opportunity to attain the Dao.

Ch. 232The Human Clan Emerges, a Fortune Treasure

Nüwa created the Human Clan with Wu Tian's help, and the Primordial World recognized their birth. Wu Tian left the Pangu Seal to suppress the Human Clan's Fortune as Nüwa received the merit for creation.

  • Nüwa tried to create a human from Nine Heavens Breathing Earth and Three Lights Divine Water, then agreed to add her essence blood and Wu Tian's.
  • Nüwa used the Creation Qiankun Cauldron to shape the first two humans from the mixed earth and essence blood, while Wu Tian clothed them and awakened their intelligence.
  • Nüwa shaped three thousand humans by hand, then used the Innate Calabash Vine to create more until their number reached one hundred twenty-nine thousand six hundred.
  • Nüwa declared that the humans formed the Human Clan, and the Primordial World responded with gathered Fortune and Golden Light of Merit.
  • Wu Tian cast the Pangu Seal into the Human Clan's River of Fortune and proclaimed it their Fortune treasure, stabilizing the river as the merit for creating humans descended.

Ch. 233Heavenly Merit Descends, Nüwa Becomes a Saint

After Nüwa created the Human Clan, Heavenly Merit descended and granted her the largest share, while Wu Tian and others received smaller portions. Nüwa refined her Primordial Violet Qi, entrusted her primordial spirit to the Heavenly Dao, and became a saint, leaving the Primordial World to recognize her new status.

  • A vast amount of Heavenly Merit descended, with Nüwa receiving sixty percent and Wu Tian receiving twenty percent for his role in creating humans.
  • The Innate Calabash Vine, the Human Clan, Nüwa’s Creation Qiankun Cauldron, Wu Tian’s Pangu Seal, and the Ancestral Witches also received portions of merit.
  • Nüwa absorbed the merit, fully refined her Primordial Violet Qi, and connected her primordial spirit to the Heavenly Dao.
  • Nüwa’s ascension unleashed the pressure and signs of a saint across the Primordial World, while Wu Tian used the Pangu Seal to protect the newborn humans.
  • Nüwa announced that she had become a saint through the merit of creating humans, and living beings across the Primordial World congratulated Saint Nüwa.

Ch. 234Dare You Compete with Me for the Human Clan?

After Nüwa became a saint, Wu Tian resisted her pressure and refused to let her or Di Jun claim responsibility for the Human Clan. He invoked Nüwa’s earlier promise of one request, and she agreed to hear it.

  • Taiqing sensed a connection to the newly born Human Clan and led Yuanshi and Tongtian toward the valley where Nüwa had created them.
  • Nüwa recognized Wu Tian’s scheme and noticed that his essence blood had revealed some of his strength, but she stopped herself from exposing it before the others.
  • Di Jun celebrated Nüwa’s sainthood and claimed the Human Clan could join the Demon Clan, while Nüwa offered to protect the humans for one million years.
  • Wu Tian rejected Nüwa’s offer to protect the Human Clan, and Di Jun declared that the Demon Clan would take them in.
  • Dijiang confronted Di Jun, but Wu Tian stopped him and asked Nüwa whether she still honored her promise to grant him one request; Nüwa said she did.

Ch. 235The Human-Witch Confluence, the Supreme Treasure Finally Completed

Wu Tian secured control over the Human Clan’s Fortune after Nüwa agreed not to interfere, then used his creation merit and the Witch Clan’s support to bind the clans’ fortunes together. The Pangu Seal completed its forty-ninth restriction and became a supreme treasure capable of suppressing both clans’ Fortune.

  • Wu Tian demanded that Nüwa remain the Human Clan’s Holy Mother but refrain from interfering in its affairs, and Nüwa agreed.
  • The Human Clan’s Fortune shifted under Wu Tian’s control, while Di Jun accepted Nüwa’s explanation and Taiqing suspected his path to sainthood involved the Human Clan.
  • When Heavenly Dao power destabilized the Human Clan’s River of Fortune, Wu Tian poured his creation merit into the Pangu Seal.
  • Wu Tian proclaimed that the Human Clan and Witch Clan shared Pangu’s bloodline and that the Pangu Seal would suppress both clans’ Fortune.
  • Dijiang and the other Ancestral Witches sent the Witch Clan’s Fortune toward the Pangu Seal, and Pangu’s aura swept away the Heavenly Dao power around Mount Buzhou.
  • The two Rivers of Fortune settled as the Pangu Seal completed its forty-ninth restriction and began to emanate the aura of a supreme treasure.

Ch. 236It Really Wasn't Me Who Taught Them

The Human Clan and Witch Clan merged their Fortune after Wu Tian used the Pangu Seal to drive back the Heavenly Dao. Nüwa departed to establish Empress Wa Palace, leaving Wu Tian responsible for the Human Clan, whose members unexpectedly hailed him as their Holy Father.

  • The Human Clan and Witch Clan's Fortunes merged, and the Heavenly Dao's power retreated from Mount Buzhou.
  • Wu Tian used the merit from creating humanity to advance the Pangu Seal into a supreme treasure and planned to use the remaining merit on the Primordial Measuring Sky Ruler.
  • Wu Tian promised Nüwa that the Witch Clan would protect the Human Clan, and Nüwa invited the gathered immortals to accompany her into Chaos to establish Empress Wa Palace.
  • Nüwa asked Wu Tian to treat the Human Clan well before departing, and Wu Tian assured her that they were like Witch Clan clansmen.
  • The newly born humans bowed to Wu Tian and called him Holy Father, prompting him to insist to Xuan Ming and Houtu that he had not taught them to do so.

Ch. 237Houtu: You Want to Split Off from Me?

Wu Tian explained the Human Clan’s connection to the Witch Clan and proposed making them a thirteenth great tribe under his care. The Ancestral Witches accepted his plan, but Houtu objected when she thought he meant to separate from her.

  • The newly born Human Clan members honored the Ancestral Witches, addressing Xuan Ming and Houtu as ladies, and Zhu Jiuyin asked Wu Tian why they shared the Witch Clan’s bloodline and Heavenly Dao merit.
  • Wu Tian explained that the Human Clan had innate Dao bodies and that he had used three drops of essence blood; Zhu Rong celebrated them as his blood descendants until Wu Tian covered his mouth.
  • Dijiang asked how Wu Tian would settle the Human Clan, and Wu Tian proposed making them a thirteenth great tribe that he would personally oversee.
  • Wu Tian speculated about all Primordial World beings joining together as the Pangu Clan to wage war in Chaos, then asked whether anyone opposed his plan.
  • Dijiang and Zhu Jiuyin agreed to trust Wu Tian, but Houtu asked whether he planned to split off from her, prompting the other Ancestral Witches to watch his reaction.

Ch. 238The Human Clan's Ancestor Wishes to Create the Martial Dao

Wu Tian arranged for Houtu, Xuan Ming, and the Great Witches to help protect and guide the newly born Human Clan while it grew apart from the Witch Clan. After seeing the humans thrive and recognizing that Witch Clan cultivation did not suit them, Wu Tian decided to create a cultivation method for them: the Martial Dao.

  • Wu Tian explained that the Human Clan would live separately from the Witch Clan for ten thousand years, and Houtu agreed to guard them and send Hou Yi, Kua Fu, and other Great Witches to help.
  • Wu Tian asked Xuan Ming to help guard the valley, and the humans began calling him Old Ancestor instead of Holy Father.
  • Houtu and the Great Witches taught and settled the humans, while Kua Fu and Hou Yi discovered their aptitude for learning and their calm ferocity in battle.
  • Houtu urged Wu Tian to cultivate and create a method suited to the Human Clan because the Nine Revolutions Mystical Art did not fit their constitution.
  • Wu Tian rejected promoting Hongjun's Immortal Dao and resolved to create the Martial Dao for the Human Clan.

Ch. 239Martial Dao Emerges!

Wu Tian used the Nine Revolutions Mystical Skill as a foundation to create a cultivation path suited to the Human Clan and his own goal of proving the Dao through strength. After drawing on creation merit to deepen his enlightenment, he announced that the Martial Dao had emerged, alerting the Heavenly Dao.

  • Wu Tian told Houtu he had an idea and went to the lake to devise a cultivation method, while Xuan Ming cultivated nearby.
  • Wu Tian combined the Nine Revolutions Mystical Skill with other cultivation methods and envisioned a gradual path for the Human Clan, prompting Houtu and Xuan Ming to protect his enlightenment.
  • Wu Tian realized the Martial Dao could unify his powers and help him prove the Dao through strength, but his progress stalled.
  • Wu Tian poured some of the merit stored in the Pangu Seal into the Enlightenment Tea Tree, strengthening its Dao Resonance and allowing his comprehension to continue.
  • Wu Tian's aura erupted and the visions returned to his body before he declared, "Martial Dao, emerge!" as the Heavenly Dao sensed the change.

Ch. 240Does Heavenly Dao Have to Be So Practical?

Wu Tian established the Martial Dao and used the Primordial Measuring Sky Ruler to stabilize its fortune and connect it to the Human Clan. After becoming the Martial Ancestor and receiving only a small amount of Heavenly Dao merit, he was congratulated by Kunpeng and Queen Mother of the West.

  • Wu Tian prevented Heavenly Dao from absorbing the Martial Dao by declaring its establishment beneath Mount Buzhou and using the Primordial Measuring Sky Ruler to suppress its fortune.
  • The Three Pure Ones and other Sages were alarmed by the Martial Dao, while Dijiang and the other Ancestral Witches arrived to protect Wu Tian.
  • Pangu's aura stabilized the Martial Dao rune, and Wu Tian gained the heavenly position of Martial Ancestor as cultivators of the Martial Dao would contribute fortune to him.
  • Heavenly Dao withdrew most of the merit it had been nurturing, but the Primordial Measuring Sky Ruler collected the small amount that descended.
  • As Wu Tian prepared to enter seclusion, Kunpeng and Queen Mother of the West arrived and congratulated him on establishing the Martial Dao.
