Wu Tian gathered Styx, Zhen Yuanzi, and the Ancestral Witches at the Netherworld Blood Sea for a great opportunity connected to Houtu. As Houtu’s aura changed, Dijiang summoned Pangu Hall, and she began a declaration to the Great Dao and Father God Pangu.

• Styx reluctantly agreed to let Wu Tian use the Netherworld Blood Sea after Wu Tian assured him the opportunity would benefit him.
• Wu Tian sent a message to Zhen Yuanzi while Houtu quietly took in the Primordial World.
• Di Jun, Taiyi, and Fuxi noticed Wu Tian and the Ancestral Witches at the Blood Sea, then saw Zhen Yuanzi arrive and headed there themselves.
• Zhen Yuanzi arrived under the protection of the Earth Book, and Wu Tian told him the opportunity might concern him.

Houtu vowed to transform herself into the Six Paths of Reincarnation and establish the Underworld, drawing the Great Dao’s attention. As darkness consumed her and much of the Netherworld Blood Sea, Wu Tian and the other Ancestral Witches entered it, while Zhenyuanzi remained outside to protect the Primordial World.

• Houtu swore to sacrifice herself to create the Six Paths of Reincarnation and establish the Underworld, and the Great Dao appeared as Pangu Hall resonated.

He decided to open the Underworld to spare Houtu’s strength, and, empowered by the Creation Mark, began imitating Pangu’s world-opening strike.

• Zhenyuanzi activated the Earth Book Formation to calm the tremors as the Netherworld Blood Sea vanished, and Taiqing and the others arrived at the site.

The Six Paths of Reincarnation then brought him Great Dao empowerment, and Wu Tian awoke to find the Underworld and its Six Paths fully created as the Great Dao’s projection appeared to bestow merit.

• Wu Tian’s imitation of Pangu’s creation drew the Ancestral Witches’ power and the Origin Realm’s origin, while Wangshu stabilized the realm with lunar radiance and the Innate Spiritual Roots.
• Wu Tian struck twice with the Primordial Measuring Sky Ruler, creating heaven and earth but leaving his body cracked and the Ancestral Witches near their limits.

Empress Pingxin and Dao Ancestor Hongjun confronted each other over the Heavenly Dao’s attempt to press into the Underworld, then agreed that she would remain there unless a major event occurred. After Hongjun withdrew, Pingxin rewarded Zhenyuanzi for his service in opening the Underworld.

• Empress Pingxin repelled the Heavenly Dao’s power with the Earthly Dao, and Hongjun realized that the Heavenly Dao could not yet overpower it.
• Hongjun asked Pingxin to stay in the Underworld and warned that Houtu was no longer a Witch, while Pingxin insisted that the Heavenly and Earthly Dao should remain balanced.

Wu Tian remained secluded in cultivation while the Queen Mother of the West urged Primordial Phoenix to send Kong Xuan and Dapeng to meet him. After receiving his mother's summons, Kong Xuan set out for Undying Volcano, though Dapeng's whereabouts remained unknown.

• Wu Tian sealed the Origin Realm and continued cultivating instead of answering the Queen Mother of the West.
• The Queen Mother of the West urged Primordial Phoenix to send Kong Xuan and Dapeng, hoping to use their visit as a reason to see Wu Tian.
