Even with Mu En's experience of traversing the continent for over two hundred years, he had never sensed such a pure aura.

A dazzling meteor streaked across the night sky, descending toward Douluo Continent at incredible speed.

And the meteor's final landing place was nowhere else but the outskirts of Star Dou Forest, not far from Shrek Academy.

"Quick, Xuanzi, come with me. Everyone else, remain at Sea God's Pavilion!" Elder Mu's voice was anxious, stripped of its previous gentleness.

After dropping those words, his stooped figure instantly vanished from where he stood, transforming into a lightning-like streak of light that shot toward Star Dou Forest.

Though he did not know what it was, it was undoubtedly inextricably connected to the recent phenomena.

And when he thought of what had happened a hundred years ago, he already had a suspicion.

The meteor had landed in Di Tian's lair, Star Dou Forest. They had to find it before he did.

Although Elder Xuan did not understand Elder Mu's intentions, he trusted him and immediately gave chase, leaving behind the others, who were still dazed.

God Realm, within the clouds beside a faintly visible palace.

A man with waterfall-like sea-blue hair stood quietly there, gazing into the endless distance, as though he were looking at something.

A woman in a long pink dress, her hair braided into a scorpion tail, held the man's arm and rested her head against his shoulder.

"Eh? Strange," the man suddenly said in surprise. His eyes grew brighter as he looked into the distance, as though he wished to see through something.

"What is it, Third Brother?" the woman asked curiously, blinking her lovely large eyes. In her memory, it had been a long time since her Third Brother had shown such a surprised expression.

Not even when he had just mentioned that a new star would appear on Douluo Continent.

The man sighed softly and slowly said, "It's just strange. I was able to see that rising new star earlier, but then everything became hazy again. The situation on the continent now seems to be beyond even my sight."

"Moreover, the God Realm seems to be undergoing some kind of change. Although I don't yet know what that change is, an inexplicable sense of fear often rises within me."

"How could that be?" the woman said in surprise, finding it difficult to believe that her omnipotent Third Brother could also be uncertain.

With their strength and speed, the two had practically searched the entire outskirts of Star Dou Forest, yet they still had not found what Elder Mu was seeking.

"I don't know exactly what it was either, but I caught a glimpse of it. It seemed to be an oval-shaped object." Mu En recalled the shape of that object from his fleeting glimpse.

"No matter what it is, since it appeared after the phenomenon, it must be extraordinary. We absolutely cannot let Di Tian find it first," Elder Mu said firmly after pondering for a moment.

In truth, he already had a guess, but that matter was Sea God's Pavilion's highest secret. Even Elder Xuan was not qualified to know it.

At the thought of the consequences if his guess was correct and Di Tian found that thing first, Elder Mu's expression became even graver.

Star Dou Forest and Shrek Academy had fought for so many years that Elder Mu knew Di Tian's temperament well. He was no easy opponent.

After receiving Elder Mu's explanation, Elder Xuan could not help speeding up as well.

"Could we have missed somewhere? Or has Di Tian already found it?" Even after the two circled the entire outskirts of Star Dou Forest, they found nothing unusual. They did, however, encounter quite a few soul beasts and heavenly treasures.

Worried about attracting Di Tian's attention, they did not spread their spiritual senses over a wide area. Still, every place they passed had certainly been searched thoroughly.

The sudden sound caught the attention of the two Shrek elders.

Unless one of the ferocious beasts from the core region had come to the outskirts and quietly approached them. But upon further thought, that was impossible as well.

If it were a ferocious beast, it would not make such a sound. That sound was more like... the cry of an infant!

With that thought, the two followed the direction from which the sound had come and slowly made their way over.

They would take a look first. If it truly was a ferocious beast, leaving would be effortless with their strength.

"Waa! Waa!"

Sure enough, as they drew closer to the source, the sound of an infant crying became clearer and clearer.

When they approached, they found a gentle glow emanating from beneath the thick fallen leaves. Yet when they probed with their spiritual senses, they discovered only empty nothingness there and could not see anything at all.

Elder Mu gently brushed the fallen leaves aside and finally saw what lay beneath.

It was actually an infant radiating a faint white glow all over his body!

It was a baby boy. Unlike ordinary infants on the continent, he possessed a pair of peculiar Twin Pupils.

His left eye was a faint pink, while his right eye was a sky-blue as deep as the heavens!

Dear readers, this baby boy is our protagonist. As for his eye colors, they will gradually change as he grows. They are actually connected to the moonlight mentioned earlier. This story is also relatively slow-burning, with some subtle foreshadowing in the beginning whose purpose will only become apparent later.
