At the Grand Bazaar's trading market, every week saw the rise and fall of several planets with populations of tens or hundreds of millions.
Reality was that in this multiverse, where pollution continued to deepen, in this hell where most races and planets tried to climb upward by stepping on other victims, misfortune and nightmares had always been the main theme.
"Since life is destined to be terrible, we can only adapt. Since some worlds must step on other dimensions to survive, why can't it be us?"
Earth on this timeline was deteriorating, its pollution increasing every day. The rate of increase was at least one and a half times what it had been before the Nirvana Plan was implemented.
"Our world added a total of six hundred and seventy deities last year, while more than three times that number emerged in other realms. The world's 'actual area' expanded at least sixfold, the stability of this plane's laws increased dramatically, and both the total population and the average rank of Professionals rose noticeably. This is a period of rapid development, a golden age that belongs only to us."
The Golden Age had already become a term recognized by many. At the very least, Earth's television stations bombarded people with all sorts of "golden/gold" labels. Even ordinary citizens felt that this era truly was not bad, that their lives were getting better and better.
Most notably, as large numbers of New Gods connected to the world and various world laws and foundational cornerstones were successfully integrated through plunder, the world's stability greatly increased. Accidents involving secret realms and Space Rifts became significantly less frequent, Professionals found advancement much easier, and even loss of control was delayed somewhat.
The arrival of a New Era was bound to send countless pigs soaring on
