Big Cat Chris complained, staring gloomily at the full fish meal Lu PingAn had brought out.
"You were complaining last week that sea beast meat was too tough and tasteless. Fish has at least a little flavor, so make do."
Her new body was practically that of a living creature, and at Tier 1, Chris was no different from an ordinary person. Hunger, a sensation she had not felt in a long time, came rushing back. Even a former quasi-god could not withstand it.
But the environment was limiting, and especially since Lu PingAn no longer had his "portable space," he had naturally forgotten to bring seasonings. The food tasted like a disaster, yet they had no choice but to eat it.
"You eat first!"
The woman irritably pushed the food toward him. The grilled fish was smeared with all kinds of "fruit jam," "fish roe paste," and "meat paste." When this man got creative with cooking, he was even more outrageous than his "daughter."
Lu PingAn silently picked up a fish patty and some grilled sea beast meat. It seemed yesterday's "Crab Paste" had left quite an impression on her.
But there was no helping it. The most basic form of seasoning was extracting ingredients and mixing them together, and Lu PingAn had far too few materials on hand. He could only keep experimenting.
