Lu PingAn's résumé was already quite substantial. Across the entire multiverse, having experienced world endings and world wars several times, he could unhesitatingly call himself a seasoned Plane Traveler.
"But I've truly never seen a world like this."
Lu PingAn opened his eyes. This time, he sensed the vibrations of the entire world.
Generally speaking, a world was single-layered. Or, in Lu PingAn's own understanding, all particles vibrated at roughly the same frequency, and the life formed from those particles existed at that same frequency as well, creating the single-layered universe of reality.
Or what was known as a "dimension."
But this world was different.
Two worlds were linked together, entangled with each other in every respect, yet they were not layered apart. Instead, they were embedded within one another.
However, the vibrational frequency of one side was at least ten times that of the other. The high-frequency vibrating particles formed an extremely active energy world, like countless towers and high platforms rising from a plain.
And now, Lu PingAn's group had abruptly fallen onto one such high platform.
"Are you all right? The first time here always feels very uncomfortable."
Lu PingAn shook his head and withdrew the vision of the Eye of Truth.
What returned within his sensory range was merely an apparently ordinary world, except there were no natural landforms, only countless lava flows and volcanoes.
High temperatures, smoke, and magma. Though they were clearly far away, he could sense the fiery red glow and silence everywhere.
Yet strangely, although the temperature here was obviously higher, Lu PingAn could not feel any scorching heat.
Still, Lu PingAn had vaguely noticed that this world was quite unstable, as if it might break away at any moment.
"...So this is the Elemental Plane?"
Lu PingAn nodded to the friendly
