She was that land itself. Countless lives reproduced, evolved, died, and ultimately came to an end upon her. Yet that did not mean it was over. New races and new lives would replace those that came before.
Single-celled organisms, reptiles, insects, birds, apes, humans. Did the earth love the races upon it? No. She merely watched in silence, waiting for them to evolve and reach their end.
