Compared to back then, Lu PingAn had changed greatly after reverting to a cub-like state.
But in the eyes of the big shots attending the meeting, he was still himself. They were more curious about Chris's current state, and as they talked, someone even raised a possibility.
"Twin Gods."
The suggestion caused an uproar among the big shots present, and even Lu PingAn himself was stunned for a moment.
But the more they thought about it, the more it really seemed to fit.
They shared a similar origin and were connected in every way, perhaps even following the same path, yet they were completely distinct individuals.
This was not as simple as one plus one equaling two. Two individuals of the same origin could "merge" conceptually. This could involve, but was not limited to, "becoming mirrors of each other (Moon God)," "resonance fusion," and "mutual spatial guidance."
The Moon God's path included a whole range of twin-related abilities. The greatest advantage of this mutually restraining "entangled relationship" was that it could keep one side from straying down the wrong path. Ordinary transcendants might take a path to an extreme, but twins could usually verify each other, allowing them to progress farther and more steadily. If one went too far, the other could even try to pull them back.
It was like looking into a mirror. Many Professionals only realized something had gone wrong after reaching a point of no return, their newly acquired power itself having misled them. If they had a fellow professional constantly verifying them, the chances of that happening would be much lower.
However, top-level transcendants generally followed one path each. Only "twins" with similar talents or even genes were more likely to form such a relationship, hence the term Twin Gods.
Because of that, Lu PingAn,
